Despite the title of the show indicating that the cast will include actual housewives, Jennifer Aydin gets some flack for being one. At least from Margaret Josephs, who has lived very different lifestyle. To be fair, these two ladies of the Real Housewives of New Jersey have been bickering for quite some time. They just don’t see eye to eye on many things.
They were also on opposing sides for the feud between Jackie Goldschneider and Teresa Giudice this season. Margaret was firmly in Jackie’s corner while Jennifer backed Teresa by questioning when and where Margaret’s husband Joe Benigno had hear the rumor that Evan Goldschneider was cheating on his wife. Even after Teresa and Jackie made up, tensions remained between Jennifer and Margaret. Jennifer callously questioned Margaret’s role in the sexual dynamic with a former boss. Margaret retaliated by calling Jennifer a free loader. Obviously the two ladies have very different views on marriage.
While Margaret and Jennifer made their opinions very well known, Andy Cohen made sure to ask Bill Aydin his opinion when he hosted the RHONJ house-husbands on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live.
A fan asked Bill how he felt about Margaret’s digs at Jennifer for being a stay-at-home mom.
“Listen, I have the utmost respect for all women that stay home,” Bill replied, “for my wife to stay home with five kids was a blessing. Otherwise we wouldn’t have the family that we do.”

Ultimately, all of the Real Housewives have different lifestyles. Some choose to work, while others live up to the name of the show. It’s a matter of what works best for each family, and what is valued the most between a couple. There is no single solution for anyone.
As for Margaret and Jennifer, they made up. For now.
