Fill up your baby bottles because Vandepump Rules is filming. This means we’ll actually see Season 9, but it’s going to be drastically different. Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired for racial profiling Faith Stowers. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright were axed too departed the show because it was “too scripted.” And a bunch of one season wonders were also fired.
Returning cast members include Scheana Marie, Lala Kent, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, and Lisa Vanderpump. Some of them either have babies, are hoping for babies, or just trying to furnish their expensive homes. It’s going to be interesting to see how the show handles these changes. One thing will always remain though – LVP helped make these people famous.
Lala was a guest on the Mention It All podcast recently, where she talked about motherhood, Randall Emmett, gearing up for Season 9, and LVP. The interviewer asked about her relationship with Lisa, which is actually a good question considering the fact that Lisa is not in contact with certain former cast members.
Lala gave a different response than Stassi would have if asked, saying, “She’s always been in my corner.” This is true. LVP always appeared to have a soft spot for Lala on Pump Rules. Remember that one time she stopped showing up for work, and LVP gave her a job again?

“I feel like even when she’s brutally honest with me [she’s] taking the time and the energy to invest into someone who I believe, which is me, who she cares about. I have always felt that she cares about me and I am forever grateful for her,” Lala said. As she should be.
Lala and Lisa have been in contact during hiatus, “and even now, she’ll call me and check up on Ocean. And we’ve FaceTimed a lot.” I can imagine Lisa being super generous and sweet to all the pump babies. Bottom line, Lala said, “I have all the love in the world for Lisa Vanderpump and her family.”
