Jeana Keough was a memorable “OG” on Real Housewives of Orange County. Much of her story line centered on her real estate career and her three children: Shane Keough, Kara Keough, and Colton Keough. Her troubled marriage to Matt Keough was also front and center on RHOC.
In November of 2019, Jeana announced that she and Matt were finally divorced after being separated for 22 years. Sadly, in May of 2020, Matt passed away.
Kara and her husband, Kyle Bosworth, were excited to welcome a baby boy to join their daughter, Decker. Tragically, on April 6, 2020, their son McCoy Casey Bosworth passed away during childbirth.
He suffered “shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord,” and the family made the decision to donate his tissue and organs. In a heartbreaking Instagram post, Kara wrote, “He joined our Heavenly Father and will live forever in the hearts of his loving parents, his adoring sister, and those that received his life-saving gifts.”
On April 27, 2020 Kara posted a stark black and white photo on Instagram of herself with McCoy and Kyle. The grieving mother wrote, “You would have been 3 weeks old today. You would be ‘waking up’ and showing us more of you,” Kara stated. “Instead… we’re missing you. To all my fellow ‘instead’ mamas…. thank you for reminding me that we’re not alone, and that we can survive this.”

Former RHOC star Vicki Gunvalson commented on Kara’s photo. “Oh Kara, you are in my thoughts daily. I’m so glad you took so many photos. He will never be forgotten,” Vicki wrote. “Peace be with you all. So sad.”
But Vicki came through for her friend Jeana during this crisis. Jeana told US Weekly that Kara didn’t want her to fly to Florida because of the pandemic. “She said, ‘I don’t want to lose you and the baby. So, you’re not flying here until we know for sure it’s safe,’” Jeana explained. “So Vicki said, ‘Get your bags packed. I’m picking you up. We’re driving to Florida.’” That was so kind of Vicki.

Jeana shared that she would have been an annoying passenger during the long drive. Apparently Jeana likes to repeatedly ask, “Are we there yet? Are we stopping for lunch? Do you want a coffee? Do you have to go to the bathroom?” Same, Jeana.
Jeana called Vicki “a good support. She had lots of great ideas. … It’s good to have friends that are prepared as you get older, that know how to do stuff,” Jeana added.
In April of 2020, Kara shared the wonderful news that she was once again expecting. Kara told Jeana that she was pregnant when she was three months along. “She had a lot of fear. She didn’t tell anyone except her core little group of six friends [in Florida],” Jeana remarked. “At about seven, eight months, I started telling my friends, ‘You can’t say anything, but this is why I’m going to Florida so much,'” she added.
Kara announced her little one’s arrival on Instagram on April 10, 2021. “Introducing Decker and McCoy’s baby brother: Vaughn Mack Bosworth,” she posted along with sweet photos of the baby.

“His name means ‘small/little’ and ‘hope’. It’s not lost on us that if we hadn’t lost Mack, we’d never know Vaughn,” Kara wrote. “And yet, here he is, an unexpected serendipity. A little hope.”
