It’s clear that every Real Housewives of Atlanta fan has plenty of feelings regarding Porsha Williams’ recent engagement to Simon Guobadia. Simon, otherwise known as the soon-to-be ex-husband of Porsha’s friend Falynn Guobadia, went down on one knee just a month after the two started dating. P got herself a huge diamond, a three-part TV special about her life and a whole lot of backlash. Oh, and a storyline for next season.
Considering Porsha4Real brought Falynn onto the show in the first place, it seemed like the ultimate break of the girl code. Even more than Kenya Moore’s investigation into BoloGate. Simon says the two called it quits because Falynn was cheating, which sounds like an Erika Jayne excuse. However, Falynn has receipts, proving she’s a better peach-holder than Drew Sidora, that the two aren’t even legally divorced yet. Meanwhile, Porsha has limited comments on Instagram while she dreams up her ideal TV wedding.
There’s been a lot of speculation about this engagement, whether it’s the confusing timeline or another woman claiming to have also recently dated Simon. One rumor that’s been going around is that Porsha is pregnant with her second child, leading her to jump into commitment. However, according to ET Online, Porsha Luther King said on Dish Nation that she’s not expecting. “I’m not pregnant,” Porsha said. “This is not a shotgun wedding.” Well, I guess that’s that. It would almost be better if they were having a kid, not just that Porsha is so eager to get married to her friend’s ex without regarding her feelings.
Porsha also spoke about the picture that broke the internet of her (with the ring on her finger), Simon and her ex Hot Dog Dennis McKinley. “It was such a magical moment of just being grown adults and being mature and wanting to do the best thing,” she said. “I was like, ‘Let’s seal this moment with a picture’ and we posted it.”

And my suspicions have been confirmed that this new couple is living in a Porsha fantasy world. Porsha was allegedly shocked that people had so many questions when she posted the photo. “I woke up and I was like, ‘What’s happening? Why is everybody going crazy?” Hmm maybe because you subtly posted a photo between your ex and your friend’s ex with a massive rock on your finger. How did she not expect this to garner some questions?
On the podcast, Porsha went on to talk about her love for her new man. “I’ve been waiting for a love like this and God answered my prayers, and I wasn’t going to deny it when it was smacking me dead in the face,” she said. Good for her but also like what’s the rush to being engaged? Let Falynn breathe a little and sign the final dotted line of her divorce papers before jumping into such a serious commitment.

I just can’t wait for RHOA Season 14 so fans can see what feelings Twirl and Marlo Hampton have about this relationship. They likely won’t be invited to the wedding, and it looks like Cynthia Bailey made that list too.
