It’s really unknown how the first season of the Real Housewives Spin-Off in Turks and Caicos will go. The cast, comprised of 7 women from different cities, has gotten mixed reviews. A lot of the picks made sense — Teresa Giudice, Ramona Singer, Kyle Richards and Luann de Lesseps are OGs. Kenya Moore is messy, especially on vacation, so she had to be thrown in the mix. But Cynthia Bailey and Melissa Gorga, two of the most boring ladies on Bravo right now? That seemed like a bit of an oversight. And no Real Housewives of Potomac or Real Housewives of Salt Lake City were included, to fans’ dismay. This group is in need of Karen Huger and a few fireball shots.
Fans have been blessed with a few sneak peeks via housewives’ Instagrams of the trip that show the ladies dancing, drinking and showing off their bikini bods. There’s a supposed 8th surprise guest that apparently isn’t Jill Zarin, Tamra Judge or Vicki Gunvalson, so all bets are off on who that could be. But put this many housewives in one house and you’re bound to get drama. Especially if you come between Ramona and her room, or Tre and her macrame beach outfits.
A few of the ladies have been teasing fans to hype up the upcoming series without revealing anything major. Real Housewives of New York’s one and only Countess spoke to Behind The Velvet Rope With David Yontef prior to leaving for the trip about what she anticipated from the ultimate vacay. “I’m super excited to get to know the women from the other franchises. I know them, but I don’t know them. I haven’t been on vacation with them,” Lu said.
Honestly, vacationing with Ramona and Sonja Morgan has to be the most chaotic and unexpected experience, so I think the Countess can handle these other ladies from Real Housewives of Atlanta and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The Real Housewives of New Jersey girls, on the other hand, might give her a run for her money. “Of course, there’s gonna be drama with all those personalities thrown in, but I kind of like that part, which is I like to see how people navigate and how they behave around other people,” she said.

Lu was asked which ladies she thought would bring the most drama. “Maybe, like Teresa. Maybe Kenya. Ramona,” she responded. Well isn’t that just obvious? In a follow-up question about Ramona and Kenya potentially butting heads, Lu said she “can’t wait” to see it.
Rumor has it Twirl and the Ramonacoaster got into it on the trip, so it looks like Luann was right. And who wouldn’t want to see these two messy ladies go head-to-head on a tropical vacay? I only wish Patterson Dolores Catania was there to really go head-to-head with the Ramonacoaster full-force.
