Getting nips and tucks is apparently all the rage. Instead of the old phrase, “smoke ’em if you got ’em”, we evolved into the more current, “cut it out or suck it out“. Over the past few years, Bravo viewers have received quite an education on elective surgeries. I no longer need Dr. Paul Nassif to determine repairing a deviated septum is often code for “give me a better profile“. Sometimes celebrities go for a full face overhaul, and sometimes they do a little maintenance.
Last year, Real Housewives of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke did more than cause a stir on her show. Braunie chose to undergo two non-surgical procedures to keep her looking fresh as the proverbial daisy. Plastic surgery is definitely a personal decision and the general train of thought is, if it makes you feel better about yourself, you do you. In keeping with that trend, Braunwyn has ventured back into her doctor’s office for yet another tune up.
Most of the women on RHOC have had their fair share of facial and body adjustments. Tamra Judge has had her boobs fixed 98 times. Vicki Gunvalson, well, she has also participated in the occasional procedure. Shannon Storms Beador has been transparent about having her nose done and a chin implant. I’m not sure, but I think Botox might be available at stoplights in Mission Viejo proper. It’s important to feel good about yourself, but let’s be honest, being on television screws with your head and high def tv is no joke.
Perhaps this is why Braunwyn has gone under the knife local anesthesia once again. To be fair, if someone who has birthed 7 children wants to get an entirely new head stuck on their neck, that’s their prerogative. Bravo TV shared an update about Braunwyn’s latest procedure and recovery. Showing a bandaged face as she convalesces at Dr. Deb’s house, Braunie shared to her Insta Stories, “mini facelift = complete”. That is MINI facelift, lest you be confused and think it is a full blown GIANT facelift or even your average REGULAR facelift.

Braunwyn said she woke up that morning feeling a little “confused”, but that could have been due to any number of possible odd things happening at Dr. Deb’s crib. She also described some ear pain but said other than that, everything is “great”. And you’ll never guess who hasn’t left Braunwyn’s side and is acting as care-taker. Hint, if you said Kelly Dodd, you would be incorrect. Yes, none other than supportive spouse and statement necklace entrepreneur Sean Burke is lending a helping hand! Braunwyn tagged him in a pic and wrote, “Shout out to this guy for taking care of me.”
In a video, Braunwyn revealed she had gotten the procedure the previous day and the bandages are already scheduled to be removed. She said, “Not that much pain — as you can tell, I can talk,” she said. “I am on a liquid diet for the next couple of weeks… But, I’ve lived on ice cream before, so, no problem.” I’m sure Sean is relieved Braunwyn’s ability to speak was not at all impaired. Stay tuned for the big result reveal, because it’s Braunwyn, and no one enjoys a big reveal more than she does.
