Bethenny Frankel is one of Bravo’s brightest stars and most successful stories. If a viewer were to model themselves by one Bravolebrity, Bethenny is a good one to emulate. She has the money, the name, and has developed her philanthropic efforts to prestigious levels. Beth might have always had that “star power” but attempts to launch her brand remained unsuccessful prior to joining Real Housewives of New York.
After 8 seasons of playing the reality television game, between taking time off to investigate other ventures, Bethenny departed the franchise for bigger and better pursuits. She currently has a gig with HBO and recently revealed her newest wine collection. Beth has proclaimed being on Housewives ruined her credibility in the business world but admits she misses aspects of the show. In a recent interview, she implies RHONY is no longer on her radar, so I suppose it was by sheer coincidence Bethenny revealed her engagement the day the newest season trailer came out.
Bethenny is a mother, a high-powered business person, invested in the well-being of others, and newly engaged for the 20th time. There isn’t much going wrong in Beth’s world and to be fair, she has worked her ass off to achieve her goals. Her possibilities are endless and she has no intention of stopping, but she does remember where she came from. Beth has a lot of balls in the air and recently discussed her past with RHONY and future with everything else. Yahoo! News has the details.
When asked if she misses being on one of Bravo’s most popular shows, Bethenny reflects on the good parts. She said, “There’s a lot of laughing on the ‘Housewives.’ There’s a lot of satire, and it was fun to react off people. The comedy is funny. The craziness is funny.”
Beth admits one thing she is glad to see gone, the constant stress. Completely valid, as it is incredibly stressful to watch someone cry and yell for 45 minutes out of a 53 minute program. “It’s a zero-sum game. Someone’s always winning and someone’s always losing — and there’s always a gotcha moment,” she said. To whom it may concern, Bethenny does not need reality television to provide her with a “gotcha moment“.

As for watching any show she isn’t on the current RHONY season, Beth isn’t doing it. Okay, Jan. “I don’t watch the shows. And I know that will be taken as I think I’m better than, I don’t love where I came from. I do love where I came from.”
As for what is currently on Beth’s DVR, conveniently it’s an HBO production – which I’m sure is shocking to learn. A new deal with iHeartRadio is next on Bethenny’s agenda and she continues momming with Bryn Hoppy and soon wifing with Paul Bernon. Bethenny may not have many fond memories of her time on Bravo, but where would she be without it? She loves where she came from, she just doesn’t want to be reminded about it.
