Madison Lecroy has definitely brought her own brand of something to the most recent seasons of Southern Charm. Her toxic relationship with Austen Kroll was like watching a train go off-the-rails in real-time. She made her co-stars visibly uncomfortable with her treatment of Austen, and this is before the news broke she was secretly FaceTiming Jennifer Lopez’s FORMER fiance Alex Rodriguez. Austen wasn’t off the hook either, playing into this nasty back and forth dynamic.
But Austen and Madison are FINALLY done for good, aside from getting buddy-buddy at a mutual friend’s wedding recently. And now that Bennifer is taking over the A-list celebrity news feed, Madison apparently felt comfortable enough to debut her new boyfriend to the world. And Southern Charm fans, don’t get your hopes of. It’s definitely not Whitney Sudler-Smith. But can you imagine how messy that storyline would be? However, her new beau could be a dead ringer for Craig Conover, minus the pillows.
Madison posted a series of photos on her Instagram soaking up the sun on a boat with her new man. He’s not tagged in the photo and there’s no indication what his name is, but it’s probably better that way for now considering how public her relationship with Austen was. She captioned the photos “Madhappy,” keeping his IG debut pretty subtle at first.

Fans in the comments had plenty to say, including pointing out the mystery guy’s resemblance to Craigy. Others had plenty of questions about the ring Madison wore on a particular finger in the post, which we know from her track record is probably a ploy for attention. A wealth of commenters believe Madison’s new relationship is an “upgrade” from Austen, which isn’t going to make her ex very happy.

On the same day as the post, Madison shared a video to her Instagram of her drinking a Budweiser, captured by @queensofbravo on Twitter. Is that her indication that she’s officially found her Budweiser King in the world of Trop-Hops? Patricia Altschul must be so proud. It looks like time will tell if the new man will make his debut on Season 8 of Southern Charm, or remain in the shadows for now to avoid repeating old patterns with Madison.
