We barely got to know Elizabeth Lyn Vargas on Real Housewives of Orange County. She was relatively harmless, but none of her stories made any sense. It was as if she didn’t realize she signed up for a reality show, which asked her to openly discuss her life.
Toward the end of her first season, she finally started to open up, but that’s that on that. She did not get a second chance. She got the boot along with far more controversial cast members Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Kelly Dodd. Oh, and Heather Dubrow is poised to make her long-awaited comeback.
While, I am expecting multiple outbursts, cries for attention, and endless shit talking from Kelly and Braunwyn after their exits, Elizabeth took the classy approach.
In an Instagram post, she began, “I would like to thank NBCUniversal and Evolution Media as well as all of the producers, film crew and staff for the opportunity to participate in season 15 of The Real Housewives of Orange County.”

The one hit wonder admitted, “COVID 2020 was a very unfortunate and tough year for all of us during filming but we made it happen and I’m very proud of what we accomplished as a team. Despite filming during COVID and not really getting to know all the ladies fully, this past year has been the most extraordinary, amazing and beautiful experience of my life. I am so proud of the work we have done and the friendships we were able to build.”
She continued, “To the Fans …I can never ever thank you enough for the outpouring of love, support and the kindness you have shown to me. Thank you for a memorable season and helping me to launch my new Vargas Vodka in which a percentage of every bottle sold goes to help save the animals!”

And that’s all she wrote. Now, I’m just going to keep hitting refresh on Kelly and Braunwyn’s accounts to hear their BS excuses about “other projects in the works.”
