After Season 13 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, the cast is clearly due for a shake-up. Marlo Hampton needs a peach in her hand, to fix the “snoozefest” of a show. Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams’ long-time feud has been overplayed. And we even had #Bologate and Prophet Lott, yet the season just didn’t hit like the good old days. But I gotta give the ATL ladies a break — the COVID-19 pandemic took its toll on all Bravo shows. And it definitely wasn’t the worst — looking at you, Real Housewives of Orange County.
There’s been a lot of buzz about who will appear on RHOA Season 14. LaToya Ali may be one and done after her explosive debut. There are always rumors swirling that Phaedra Parks and/or Sheree Whitfield will make a return. Maybe even NeNe Leakes, never say never. And it’s obvious some of the girls just need to go.
Even though Cynthia Bailey went forward with her superspreader wedding last year, she brought very little to the show. She really has been chilling on the sidelines since the days of Peter Thomas causing drama are behind her. Just look at the last reunion — she barely said a peep. Aside from defending having a huge wedding in the midst of a global pandemic, so big that even Bravo bailed on filming.
It seems like the right time for Cynthia to leave. She somewhat made amends with NeNe during Season 12, even though NeNe wanted to be paid to attend her old friend’s wedding. She’s finally found the right guy, Mike Hill, in her life. And she even somehow swindled a spot in the Real Housewives All-Stars special. So she should quit while she’s ahead.

And Instagram account @realhousewivesfranchise has spotted a clue that might signal Cynthia’s on the outs. They pointed out that fans have noticed Cynthia removed #RHOA from her bio. It seems to me like that’s the first step in separation. But there have been rumors for many seasons that 50 Cynt is leaving, and she always finds a way back.

But considering she doesn’t look like she’s getting an invite to one of Porsha’s three weddings, she really just isn’t involved with the RHOA drama the way she used to be. And honestly, good for her. Live your best life. It just doesn’t make for entertaining TV, and there’s no problem with that.
