Real Housewives of Orange County finally cleaned house and took away Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s oranges. Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, who was a newbie last season, was also fired. Kudos to Elizabeth for acting like an actual adult and taking the high road. While Braunwyn is still thirsting for the spotlight, Kelly is blaming Braunwyn for losing her Bravo paycheck.
RHOC stars Gina Kirschenheiter, Shannon Storms Beador, and Emily Simpson are returning for Season 16. And they are being joined by Heather Dubrow. “Fancy Pants” is back to restore class and elegance to this franchise, so break out the champs! I just want to see the interior of her $21 million dollar home.
Emily’s name has been raised a few times as the Housewife who should be fired from the show. In 2018, RHOC alum, and pot-stirrer, Tamra Judge hinted that Heather should return and take Emily’s spot. During previous seasons, RHOC viewers saw Emily and her husband, Shane Simpson, deal with some marital woes. Shane was dismissive of his wife and her needs. Shane left everything on her shoulders while he studied for the bar exam at a hotel. Spoiler alert- he didn’t pass.
After losing her job, Braunwyn came for Emily when discussing the remaining cast. “Emily, I think Tamra Judge said it best, it’s like watching paint dry. I agree,” Braunwyn stated. “I know her in real life and I’m like, you were Eeyore.” Yikes!

Emily responded to fan’s questions in an Instagram Story, which was shared by Queens of Bravo. When asked about Braunwyn’s comments, Emily responded, “Yeah. Fraudwyn can run her mouth all she wants…but she’s still fired and still unlikeable.” Well, damn!
Another fan asked, “Have you ever met Heather Dubrow before/ are you excited to work with her?” Emily replied, “I have not met Heather…but I’m looking forward to meeting her and forming a completely unbiased opinion of her based upon our interactions and not everyone else’s comments.” How could you not like Heather and her champs? She is a legend.

“Are you excited about the upcoming season of RHOC?” another follower asked. “Yes! Very much!” Emily remarked. “Plus, we will be filming in the summertime in OC so that’s a really cool thing.” She added the smiley face with sunglasses emoji. And for the first time, in a very long time, I am excited to see the Orange County Housewives in action.
