Bravo has been serving us endless cast shake-ups across almost every franchise in recent history. The latest is the mass exodus from Real Housewives of Orange County. In that case, it’s out with the new, and in with the old. And please know that’s not an age comment, Heather Dubrow! Most of us are ready for the sequel of your reign!
When it comes to Real Housewives of New Jersey, there hasn’t been a cast shake up for the last 3 seasons! That’s almost as consistent as Joe Gorga’s unnecessary sexual innuendos. Word on the street is things could get mixed up before season 12, though. And tragically, no, I’m not referring to Joe gaining any other form of humor.
Our first possible new Garden State lady is Caroline Rauseo. Caroline posted a little something to Instagram indicating she was a part of Teresa Giudice‘s belated birthday celebration (I see you, Taurus!) For those who don’t know, Caroline is a real estate broker with both marketing and managing experience. Her Insta-caption simply stated, “Nothing like a girls night out w all of these beauties. Celebrating @teresagiudice & @priscilladistasio #birthdayvibes.” The photo was a group shot including Caroline, Tre, Jennifer Aydin, and Delores Catania. I guess we know where Caroline might align if asked on for Season 12.
Our second rookie-Housewife in question comes from a post made by Melissa Gorga. In a pride-post on Instagram, Melissa shared a photo of herself with Traci Johnson. Melissa’s caption said, “Happy Pride @traciljohnson #loveislove.” Innocent enough, but depending on which corners of the internet you frequent, you may have also seen a photo of Melissa filming with two blondes. One was definitely Jackie Goldschneider, and the other…well…

Nothing has been confirmed by Bravo or the RHONJ women, YET! But, wouldn’t it track that both Tre and Melissa get to bring on their own solider for their never-ending clout war? The addition of Traci seems especially promising since she has a history of being asked to join the Jersey cast. That said, the last time she was in the cast-call convo was 6 years ago.
Back in 2015, when Teresa went away to camp, there was some light reporting about Traci joining the RHONJ women. Traci’s husband, former pro-athlete Tiki Barber, shot down the rumors when asked by a TMZ cameraman back in those days. At the time, Tiki said, “No, don’t believe everything you read.” Well, Tiki, I also read that you met Traci on the “Today” show while married to your ex-wife and expecting twins. Any truth to that one?

TMZ also reported back in 2015 that Tiki expressed an overall disinterest in reality TV exposure. He apparently told TMZ he has “already got enough jobs.” Well, times they are a changing. Page Six has reported Traci is, in fact, currently in talks to join the cast of Real Housewives of New Jersey. They report that she has been seen filming at “various” events with the other women. They also report that she has filmed in her home as well.
For now, it looks like we’ll just have to wait for a formal confirmation. In the meantime, we can all dream for a dramatic shake-up without having to rely on Danielle Staub or some weak-ass cheating storyline.
