Real Housewives of Orange County Braunwyn Windham-Burke

Braunwyn Windham-Burke Slams Real Housewives For Keeping “People Who Don’t Give Much To The Show And Are Guarded And Produced” Instead Of Her; Says Her Edit Was “Very, Very Inauthentic”

Yes we’re still talking about it! Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke have been fired from Real Housewives of Orange County! We are making way for the return of the iconic Heather Dubrow and her massive new home. Let’s get out the ticker tape and roll out that orange carpet!

Of course, the news has not been well received by either Kelly or Braunwyn. Since it all broke, it’s been a full display of each of their coping mechanisms. Kelly has chosen the route of lashing out at anyone in sight. Meanwhile Braunwyn is over-sharing her personal journey and clamoring for camera time of any form. The usual.

A quick recap; Braunwyn recently announced her new relationship with Fernanda Rocha. She’s also still sober. Though, apparently some of her former co-stars have a bit more to say about that one. Either way, it seems Braunwyn is super disappointed to not share this personal journey with the RHOC viewers. In an interview on the podcast Reality Life With Kate Casey, B let it all out.

Braunwyn complained to podcast listeners about how she basically sacrificed herself for reality TV. She said, “Last year I was so open and so vulnerable and so transparent. I bled for the show. I really wanted to be as honest as I could.” She added, “And the way that it was portrayed on the show, I was never happy with. I’ve said that before. It was very, very inauthentic to what I felt was the truth.” Well, there’s three sides to every story, etc.

After her recent comments aimed towards Andy Cohen, you’d like Braunwyn would understand that the show isn’t edited or meant to show her single opinion of reality. But alas, the evolved former orange-holder feels she is owed the airtime. She said, “To not get that redemption year, you know, which is like…. I went through so much last year. And I got through it. I came out stronger. No one is ever going  to see that. No one is ever going to see the other side. Where Sean [Burke] and I have landed, me standing on my own two feet, me becoming an independent woman for the first time in my entire life. I’m 43.”

Braunwyn continued about her need for an audience saying, “This was the first time I was going to live by myself and pay my own bills. I was really excited for that.” I mean, you can still do that Braunwyn. We just don’t all need to watch. Is anyone out there actually eager to watch a Housewife pay their bills and live alone anyways? Gina Kirschenheiter tried that already and it didn’t really enthuse. Just saying.

In the end, Braunwyn seemed upset  that she had given so much while others had apparently given so little. She added, “To just sort of have that rug pulled out from under me, for people who, I’ll be honest, don’t give much to the show, [people] that are very guarded and produced, hurt even more.” Well who could that be!?
