If you’re a fan of Selling Sunset like me, you know just what a tough time Chrishell Stause has gone through. She was blindsided by her husband filing for divorce, which played out on the show. Chrishell also went through it with her castmates, who were less than supportive of her problems.
Since filming has stopped, Chrishell’s bad fortune has continued. She had a messy breakup with Dancing With The Stars alum Keo Motsepe. She also had a dust up over Bethenny Frankel’s comments on Meghan Markle. If you’re asking why Chrishell was involved, I am asking the same thing. Either way, is there any good news coming out of Chrishell’s life these days?
Thankfully, there is. As reported by People, Chrishell is writing a book. According to Chrishell, “I have always loved writing and it is an honor to be able to tell my story in this way. I’ve had such a crazy life journey and in the process of finding my voice, I’m hopeful I can inspire others along the way as well.”
The book, titled “Under Construction: Because Living My Best Life Took a Little Work” is her first memoir. It discusses her childhood in Kentucky, time spent being homeless and addiction struggles within her family. Chrishell revealed back in September, “I’ve had to start over so many times in my life. I always know how to look at the bright side because there’s been a lot of dark.”

She also plans on being open about her dream of being on a daytime soap opera, as well as her highly publicized love life. And her advice from the book will include “how to stay resilient and positive no matter how many times life knocks you down.”
Whether you’re a fan of Chrishell or not, it was hard not to feel for her last season. Being dumped on television is something that must be hard to recover from. But it sounds like things are finally looking up for her. Maybe the book was cathartic. Either way, I hope we get to see the new and improved Chrishell on the next season of Selling Sunset.
