Things just keep getting worse and worse for Erika Jayne. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been embroiled in a financial scandal for months so. It’s so big we can barely keep up. Every day, more and more is being revealed about husband Tom Girardi’s alleged misdealings. Which includes ripping off orphans and widows. I know we all know this by now but the allegations bear repeating.
Then every week we have to watch EJ put on her non-waterproof mascara and cry for the cameras. She claims her divorce isn’t a sham. And that she was mistreated in the end. Sure, that’s possible. It’s also possible she was out when she got a whiff of the money drying up. I know I am being very biased in my opinion here. But even if Erika didn’t know what was going on with Tom’s finances, the timing of their divorce is just too convenient. And her social media behavior after this all came out has been reprehensible. Does her behavior seem like someone who feels any level of sympathy for those who were victims in this scenario? No, Erika would rather cry about downsizing to a $1 million dollar bungalow. All while popping champagne for her castmates. But if Erika was hoping to maintain any form of her lifestyle when all this is said and done, she can probably let that dream go. Maybe she should focus on finding another rich husband to pay the bills.
In court documents obtained by Radar, Tom’s belongings are now being auctioned off to start paying back all the money he owes. Which is reportedly in the tens of millions range. The request to sell his belongings come from the trustee overseeing Tom’s bankruptcy filings.
According to the trustee, the items are just sitting in his unused law offices. Those items include furniture, artwork, sports memorabilia, office supplies, wine and a 2011 Cadillac scooter. Photos from the motion also show that Tom owned a Muhammad Ali signed plaque, a Notre Dame football, and bronze blind justice statues. While the judge has yet to sign off on the auction, the value of these items rings in at around $60k. Which is nothing compared to what he owes so Tom better get to selling.

And what of Erika? One creditor believes she received over $20 million in an attempt to hide assets. The bankruptcy judge is currently investigating Erika over this claim. Erika has refused to turn over any property, saying that all the items she received were gifts from Tom.
Oh what a tangled web. I don’t know how this is going to shake out. But if I had to give one piece of advice to Erika, it would be to invest in some waterproof mascara. Because she’s gonna need it.
