Since getting the boot from “her show,” OG of the OC Vicki Gunvalson has been busy distancing from Real Housewives of Orange County. You know if distancing means trashing former co-stars and mapping out their future divorces. Although in Vicki’s defense, she’s pretty accurate. She called five years for Meghan King Edmonds and Jim Edmonds – and well look how that turned out.
On top of all this, the insurance maven of Coto de Caza is also throwing all her money her full support behind Steve Lodge’s campaign for Governor of California. While I hope they hired the same service that sent a little family van to run his campaign, I have to give Vicki credit because she’s all work-work-work. Now, it looks like we can add one more thing to the OG’s resume: movie star. Your loss RHOC and Bravo!
Vicki recently shared in an Instagram post that she “just finished filming my first movie.” Please note the “my first” in that statement. It implies there will be more movies. I couldn’t love this news harder.
Vicki shared a series of pictures depicting her as a serious working actress on a generic film set. The rest of the caption tells us that this future Oscar award winning film “will be coming out in 5-6 months.” Five to six months?! That’s too long to wait!
“It must have been 100 degrees on set,” Vicki writes. The obstacles she had to overcome to do this movie! “Memorizing my lines was a lot more difficult than Reality TV,” she shares. Vicki also included @Bravo in the caption – but they have yet to re-share this news.

Vicki tells followers she “played a Dr. who had to tell a boy’s parents he had a very serious illness.” Given the little info we have here, it doesn’t sound like Vicki is in a lead role. But still, this movie is bound to be a cinematic masterpiece – and I’ll be watching!
Vicki concluded the caption with “#ScriptedMovie, #NotRealityTV, and #Hot.” You gotta love those creative hashtags. If anything, they let us know that Vicki is actually running her own social media.
