When Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams revealed that she was in a relationship with Simon Guobadia, everyone was shocked. Not only was Simon friends with Porsha’s baby daddy, Dennis McKinley, but he was the recent ex of Falynn Guobadia, Porsha’s RHOA co-star.
Porsha declared her devotion to Simon in an Instagram post. “Our relationship began a month ago—yes we are crazy in love. For all of you that need facts, I get the optics but Simon filed for divorce from a previous marriage in January,” Porsha wrote “Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled,” she added.
Then Simon confirmed on May 11, 2021, that he and Porsha were already engaged. If you are looking at this timeline and thinking it is sketchy, I am right there with you. Perhaps Porsha and Simon were seeing each other longer than one month?
Then Falynn issued a statement that made the whole situation messier. “I am focusing on finalizing my divorce and healing,” Falynn said. So, Porsha better bust out a calendar and check those dates.
Recently, Falynn announced that her divorce was finalized. She also shared some crazy tea about Porsha. Falynn claimed that Simon, “Told me that she slept with his cousin for the Rolls-Royce that she has.” Wow…just wow.
People have been weighing in on Porsha’s speed of light engagement. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais thought that the entire situation sounded like next season’s storyline.
Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Robyn Dixon thought that the couple should have waited to share their news. Robyn’s co-star (and fellow green-eyed bandit) Gizelle Bryant, who hosts Bravo’s Chat Room with Porsha, backed up her co-host. What a surprise!

According to Bossip, Porsha dished on who shaded her upcoming nuptuals on Bravo’s Chat Room. The Instagram page Its_onsite shared the video. And Porsha isn’t feeling the love from her RHOA co-stars. “Girl, they is shady as hell,” Porsha remarked. “We even had some old dried-up castmates be shady about it, chile.”
Porsha is probably referencing NeNe Leakes. NeNe commented on Porsha’s Instagram post (before the comments were turned off,) “Congrats P! Always choose happiness first #lovewins.” But then NeNe changed her mind. NeNe tweeted, “I didn’t watch the show! So this the man that was on the show wit that girl?!?!” NeNe wrote. “Oh shit now I see what y’all saying! OUCH”.
Porsha called out both Marlo Hampton and Kenya Moore for being super shady. Porsha didn’t see what they posted since both are blocked. Kenya tweeted a video of Nicki Minaj yelling “DID I LIE?” Marlo posted a video on Twitter where she dissed the relationship and implied it was fake. “I don’t f*** with her but I don’t think that’s real. Porsha likes fine [men], but guess what? Good storyline,” Marlo commented. Damn, Marlo!

Porsha remarked, “I didn’t hear anything from Cynthia [Bailey] at all. She didn’t text or anything…or Kandi [Burruss] or nothing like that. We were still talking but I didn’t…she didn’t say anything about it,” Porsha shared. Maybe that’s why Porsha unfollowed Cynthia on Instagram.
But one of Porsha’s fellow peaches did congratulate Porsha on her new relationship. “The only person that I have conversed with specifically about my engagement is Drew [Sidora]. Drew is the bomb.com,” Porsha said. “She has been so supportive. She has literally texted me, and we’ve gone out to eat together.” Well, I guess we know who will be scoring an invite to one of Porsha and Simon’s three weddings.
