Ever since NeNe Leakes recently announced the horrible news that her husband, Gregg Leakes, is “transitioning to the other side,” the Bravo community has been collectively heartbroken for the Real Housewives of Atlanta OG. Gregg and NeNe have been through it all — divorce, two marriages, and Gregg’s battle with colon cancer, most of it while on camera. Even though Gregg was in remission for a while, his cancer recently returned and it hasn’t been an easy ride at all.
And the RHOA alum recently revealed that Gregg is “dying” during an appearance at her lounge/nightclub in Atlanta. And despite her rocky relationships with some of her former co-stars, they put aside their differences to show support to NeNe during the difficult time.
Instagram account @thepeachreportdaily reposted a story from Kenya Moore showing love for Gregg and NeNe. She shared a sweet photo of Gregg gazing at NeNe with a warm caption. “Praying for Gregg, @neneleakes, and their family. Even though all our ups and downs, Gregg never treated me differently – he was always kind and respectful,” she wrote. Twirl added #AGoodMan to the post. Truly that’s a simple and honest way to describe Gregg — through it all, he’s always stayed true to himself. And remained his wife’s number one cheerleader through life.

And even Kim Zolciak-Biermann, who’s had the longest rocky relationship with the RHOA OG, showed her support. NeNe made an Instagram post that simply said “Broken” and the Bravo community flooded the comments. Kim wrote, “Praying for you and your family. Sending you lots of love,” Radar Online reports. That just goes to show that no matter what drama goes down on reality TV, nothing is bigger than the pain of someone losing a spouse. And no amount of shade-throwing should ever stop someone from wishing well to a person going through such a sad moment, especially when the person is a former friend.
We send our love and thoughts to NeNe, Gregg, and their entire family as they navigate this heavy time. And the Bravo community should be rallying around NeNe, who’s been open enough to show so much of her life on RHOA throughout the years, as she deals with this unthinkable pain.
