Season 13 of Real Housewives of Atlanta was a drag except for the Bolo stripper scandal. Other than that, it was a snooze-fest. But Kenya Moore still managed to be in the center of all the drama (what there was of it.)
Kenya hosted the RHOA girls’ trip to South Carolina, and things really went south in a big way. While her guests waited for a pig to finish roasting, Kenya ordered crab cakes for herself. What kind of host does that? Order enough crab cakes for everyone, Kenya.
When Bolo performed for the cast, the ladies were ready to party. Reportedly some of the peaches got a little frisky with Bolo. Kenya wanted to find out who had some special private time with Bolo, and her investigation centered on Porsha Williams. Porsha denied it. Kenya was slammed for breaking girl code, and her inquisition divided the cast.
Porsha’s friend, and permanent Friend of the Housewives, Marlo Hampton, sided with Kenya. That was the final straw for Porsha. At the Season 13 reunion, Kenya and Porsha decided that they would never be friends. Duh.
RHOA viewers also saw the personal stress that Kenya faced while dealing with her estranged husband, Marc Daly. The couple separated two years after they tied the knot in St. Lucia in 2017. Kenya filed for divorce in May of 2021, but she is still fighting for custody of her beloved daughter, Brooklyn Daly. Say what you will about Kenya, but no one can deny that she is a devoted mother to Brooklyn.
Kenya was also part of the cast of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which is a sort of Housewives All-Stars that will air on Peacock. Kenya and Cynthia Bailey repped for RHOA. There were rumors that Kenya feuded with Real Housewives of New York “OG” Ramona Singer. I would expect nothing less.
Kenya is also preparing to waltz her way around the ballroom. That’s right-Twirl has joined Dancing with the Stars for Season 30. Kenya will bring it. She’s a fierce competitor, and I can’t wait to see wait to see her slip on her dancing shoes.

RHOA brought in lower ratings last season, and there were rumblings about a cast shake-up. theJasmineBRAND reported that production had been bumped back due to the casting issue. So, who will stay and who will go? It seemed like an easy decision that Kenya and Kandi Burruss would get a contract, since they always have a story line.
According to Urban Belle, Kenya addressed rumors that she was fired during an Instagram Live. “Someone’s asking me about Housewives,” Kenya stated. “No, the rumors are not true. You guys, it came from some not credible source.” I’m looking at you, Porsha!
Kenya continued, “The rumors are not true so don’t believe things you hear. Unless you hear it from me, it’s not true. So, the rumors are not true about Housewives,” she added.
Kenya was let go from RHOA after Season 10 because her husband refused to film together for the show. Kenya came back for Season 12, but she took a big pay cut to return. I hope that Twirl will be giving us glorious shade and pettiness for Season 14. It’s what RHOA needs.
