Below Deck Mediterranean Alum Hannah Ferrier Denies Rumors That She's Secretly Married

Below Deck Mediterranean fans may still be mourning the departure of Hannah Ferrier, but she certainly does not regret leaving the highly successful franchise. Hannah wanted a family, she wanted to have a child, and she craved land life more than setting tables under Captain Sandy Yawn’s watchful eye. Maybe it was the amount of times Hannah was heard saying, “I hate my f—ing job” that gave it away.

Unfortunately, women in yachting have a shelf-life. And Hannah was ready to leave when she did. The timing was right. She had daughter Ava in November 2020, and got engaged to Josh Roberts later that same month.

Happily engaged, Hannah often posts family dinners and updates of her daughter to her Instagram account. They been hunkering down together for the strict lockdown in Sydney, Australia, and even bought property with her fiance, Daily Mail Australia reported.

But after a little slip of the tongue, Hannah was forced to clarify her relationship status after accidentally calling Josh her “husband” during a discussion about cooking. Fans went into overdrive speculating that the duo tied the knot on the sly, taking advantage of strict Covid restrictions in Australia.

Hannah’s manager at Stage Addition confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that Hannah and Josh have yet to legally marry. Hannah’s management team said, “I can confirm Hannah has not tied the knot…just yet. She is however looking forward to the big day and in the meantime has purchased a property in Sydney with her fiancé.”

“I’ve honestly had so many questions about what I do with cooking and things like that,” Hannah said as she shared her dinner plans with fans, “my husband does a lot of the cooking, but I wanted to share with you a few tips I find super helpful in the kitchen.”

After the former Chief Stew referred to Josh as her “husband,” Hannah had to clarify her marital status to her fans. She admitted that they are not yet married. “I just call him that!” Hannah explained.

So is Hannah taking the Robyn Dixon approach to engagements? Not exactly. She’s just getting her ducks in a row and prioritizing other things. Hannah blames being, “A tad busy with the business, baby and new house purchase to wedding plan.”
