I’ve been looking for any excuse to talk about the most recent episode of Real Housewives of Potomac. It was an Emmy-worthy performance and a reminder of why the ladies of Potomac are QUEENS in the Bravo universe. Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant’s party in a tent outside Gizelle’s run-down home was EVERYTHING. Karen Huger’s vaccine delusions. The chaotic construction in the background. Everyone fighting with everybody. Absolutely TOP-TIER TV. You’ve gotta show it some respect.
One of the many amazing moments during RHOP this week was Askale Davis finally clapping back and going for Mia Thornton’s neck. Mia’s been antagonizing the ladies lately, from gossiping with Dorothy Dillard about her daughter or coming for Askale and her businesses. It seems like a try-hard way to make a storyline that’s just falling flat. And when it came to her snide remarks at Askale, Robyn’s friend-of opened her mouth this time not to just gasp, but to read Mia down.
Askale was attempting to mediate an argument between Gizelle, Robyn and Wendy Osefo about the cheating rumors. Mia made an unnecessary comment about her being the mediator, which caused Askale to go off. She called Mia a “hoe ass” and got Candiace Dillard rallied up to go after Mia as well. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one who loved the moment — Queen Nicki Minaj gave it her stamp of approval as well.

In a screenshot posted by The Peach Report Daily, Nicki commended Askale on her Instagram story. We know Askale had to be freaking out, considering she was just happy that Nicki knew her name. Nicki wrote, “Askale was right. I knew I’d like what she had to say once she finally spoke.” Queens recognize queens.
However, it does mean that Nicki is seeing the problems with Mia. The Peach Report post also showed a tweet Askale made about her clap back. “Miss me with the women’s empowerment bs. You’re a bully & had it out for me the entire season. Always saying stuff under your breathe & I let so much stuff slide. But not today, honey!,” Askale wrote. I believe it too — Mia’s big and bad energy needs some sense to back it up.
All I have to ask now is whether or not Nicki hosting the RHOP reunion was just a joke or actually a reality. Because it’s clear she has PLENTY of thoughts about this season and questions for the ladies.
