Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne has been the focus of Season 11, although I’m sure she wishes that it wasn’t for her dumpster fire of legal woes. Her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, allegedly embezzled $26 million in funds intended for his legal clients. That includes $2 million owed to the victims of the Lion Air Flight 610 crash.
Erika is being sued for $25 million by the trustee in charge of the Girardi Keese law firm’s bankruptcy case. According to the lawsuit, the RHOBH star was aware that her expenses were being paid by funds from Tom’s law firm.
Former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel shared some shocking information about Tom’s finances on her Just B With Bethenny Frankel podcast. Bethenny stated that Tom supposedly owed $500,000 to her late ex-boyfriend, Dennis Shields. Bethenny added that Tom’s financial woes were the “worst-kept secret” in the Los Angeles legal community. Bethenny also admitted to giving Andy Cohen a heads-up about Tom’s situation. Erika’s attorney, Evan Borges, slammed Bethenny for her comments.
Meanwhile, RHOBH alum Camille Grammer decided to spill some tea of her own. First, she called out Erika for using non-waterproof mascara for her crying scenes on the show. Then Camille got down to business.
In a screenshot shared by @bravobybetches on Instagram, a fan asked Camille if she had any knowledge of the rumors about Erika and Tom’s financial struggles. Camille replied, “Yes. One of the housewives mentioned it at Andy’s baby shower.”
Kyle gave Andy a baby shower in January of 2019. Apparently, my invite was lost in the mail. Lisa Vanderpump skipped the event, but RHOBH cast members Erika, Dorit Kemsley, Lisa Rinna, Teddi Mellencamp, and Denise Richards were at the celebration.

Camille let her Twitter fingers do the walking and posted another hint. A follower asked, “@TheRealCamilleG Is there any way you can tell us or hint to, which Housewife told you about Erika & Tom [Girardi] money issues at Andy’s Baby Shower?” Camille tweeted, “A west coast HW. A so called ‘good friend’ of hers.” While the debate about who spilled the tea raged on, Camille simply wrote, “I’ll leave it at that.”
Of course, where this is Beverly Hills drama, there is LVP. It seems like so long ago that LVP and her husband, Ken Todd, banished Kyle from Villa Rosa for calling LVP a liar. Recently, the two “OG’s” decided to go back and forth in the press about a restaurant bill. Classy!
When LVP was asked if the person who gossiped about Erika and Tom’s finances could be a former friend who was tossed out of her home, she slyly replied, “Yes, it could be the person that Ken kicked out of my house.” Well, hello Kyle!

When Kyle appeared on Watch What Happens Live, Andy asked Kyle about LVP implicating her in spreading the rumor. “First of all, everyone who knows her texted me and said what a joke including people involved in this,” Kyle stated. Say what? Then she launched into her response, complete with a British accent. “But one could argue perhaps that maybe her memory is fading along with her relevance because she wasn’t even at the baby shower,” the actress said.
On October 5, 2021, Camille hopped back on Twitter to speak her truth. Camille is a Twitter gangster. (There is some rough grammar ahead.) “To set the record straight it was Kyle who told me Tom was in trouble during @Andy baby shower. I was surprised that Kyle was acting chummy chummy with Erika,” Camille tweeted. “Erika even when on to call Kyle the Queen of #RHOBH Crazy rt?!?!”
I don’t think that we will see Kyle and Erika being chummy after this reveal.
