Vanderpump Rules is back and looking a whole lot different. Scheana Shay and Lala Kent are new moms, but still up to their same old ways. Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor, and more are out after getting fired. And in probably the most shocking turn of events, James Kennedy is actually a likable human being that you really want to root for. He’ll still send rage texts, especially to Lisa Vanderpump’s son, but he’s a work in progress. Aren’t we all?
Since the VPR OGs got fired, they’ve been trying their best to stay relevant. Jax is teasing something “new” coming every other day that has yet to materialize outside of a sponsored Instagram post here and there. Stassi has a parenting podcast, behind a paywall because she needs that check. And now, according to Heavy, Kristen is selling her house. She might be closer to the Witches of Weho than ever emotionally, but she’s apparently moving out of the neighborhood. My, how the tables have turned.

Kristen has listed her home, which she paid $1 million for, for $1.3 million recently, She had just lived in the home for two years and totally renovated the place. It has a detached office, an outdoor hot tub oasis and more. As Heavy pointed out, Kristen was an OG. And Bravo was compensating her as such — with her reportedly receiving $25,000 per episode during Season 8. But now that the checks stopped rolling in, Kristen could be strapped for cash.
Kristen does seem to FINALLY be in a good relationship (thankfully NOT with James) that seems stable. So I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and say maybe she’s looking to move in with her boo. But it is interesting that this comes after her firing. The last time she was on camera, she was gushing about her new home. And she may have been banking on VPR getting canceled so the OGs could have a new spinoff. But apparently, the calls aren’t coming in and the fandom has moved on, especially after the racially insensitive remarks came to light. Maybe LVP will re-hire her to host at Sur, just without the Bravo contract. She’d undoubtedly make good tips.
