When’s the last time you reposted something to social media you didn’t agree with? I mean, without saying you disagree or adding a personal rant. You just saw something you didn’t identify with and shared it anyways. Ever? I haven’t. I don’t think I know anyone who has. That is, until now (allegedly).
After sharing fan art comparing herself to Jesus, Erika Jayne became very upset others thought maybe she saw herself in the same light as, well, Jesus. The compare and share was picked up by Page Six, which Ms. Puss didn’t take very kindly to. And no, I’m not talking about the story from May where EJ reposted a pic of herself on the cross and called herself a scape goat. She’s really trying this all AGAIN. Are we bored yet?
So a fan made some tacky art where Erika looks like Jesus. The Sunday-school-drop-out creator posted the ghastly image with a caption that said, “This is exactly how CHRIST died.” Fact check: No it isn’t. The Pretty Mess didn’t care, though, and decided to repost the image anyways. As one twitter follower put it. “Erika Jayne comparing herself to Christ is … absolutely insane. This woman has lost her damn mind.”

After seeing the (predictable) fan and media reaction to her shared post, Erika was quick to lash out yet again on Twitter. For some reason it feels like she’s got to keep that spotlight on her if it’s the literal last thing she does. I’m not sure who’s advising these decisions, but I doubt it’s anyone who has her best interests in mind. Regardless, EJ reposted the Page Six story with a caption that says, “No, I did not compare myself to Christ, someone else did and I reposted it. Now everyone can have a pretend meltdown about it.” Who’s pretending? The only one I see trying to act some type of way is Erika with her crazed internet and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills presence.
Once again, Twitter did it’s thing and the follow up call-out began. One commenter explained, “Reposting is the same as posting yourself. It means you cosigned it. Seriously, what is wrong with you?” I demand answers! Someone else wrote, “Plus, [Erika’s] the one who’s having the meltdown. We’re just lucky enough to get to witness it.” Amen.
