Sutton Stracke put in the work this season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Sutton wasn’t shy about asking her RHOBH co-star Erika Jayne about her financial and legal mess. And she was the only cast member who did. Erika’s estranged husband, Tom Girardi, was accused of embezzling $26 million from his legal clients. And now Erika is being sued for $25 million by the trustee overseeing the bankruptcy of Tom’s law firm, Girardi Keese. The lawsuit alleged that Erika knew that her lifestyle was paid for by funds taken from the firm.
While RHOBH viewers wonder exactly how much Erika knew, her tone-deaf social media posts lack any empathy for Tom’s alleged victims. It seems that Erika’s mascara-stained tears are shed only for herself. Sutton locked on to the shifting elements in Erika’s stories, like the details about Tom’s car accident. Sutton was confused about the tale, but she also knew that Erika would never admit to lying.

During Kathy Hilton’s terrifying Dinner Party from Hell Part 2, Sutton found out the hard way that no one calls Erika a liar. Erika ordered Sutton to “shut the f*ck up” and asked her if she would like to be sued. Then, Erika said to Sutton, “If you ever call me a liar again, I’m coming for you.” Sutton considered leaving RHOBH after her nasty run-in with Erika.
Sutton shared that Erika actually issued a threat that was worse. “She did say something kind of underneath her breath to me that was a threat that I took very seriously,” Sutton remarked. “I said I would never repeat it, and Andy [Cohen] got it out of me [at the four-part reunion].” And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why Sutton has security.
In an interview with Page Six, Sutton shared how her investigation of Erika has changed her plans. After spending Season 11 dissecting Erika’s legal problems, Sutton said, “I was really exhausted and really tired of talking about legal stuff.” That hasn’t stopped Sutton from preparing to hit the books.
“I am starting to study with the Princeton Review for my LSATs that I’m going to take,” she revealed. “I got a little inspired.” How long until Erika hits up her social media to take credit for inspiring her most vocal critic?

Sutton continued, “When I went to college, I wanted to go to law school. I studied political science.” Sutton was a student at Converse College in South Carolina. She decided to follow her dream of being a dancer and relocated to New York City.
The boutique owner, who said that she was an “A student,” ended up in California. “I was going to be this dancing attorney. We’ll see,” Sutton remarked. “I might miserably fail my LSATs and not go to law school. But it’s something I’m thinking about doing.”
Sutton has no regrets about asking Erika if she knew about Tom’s alleged legal misdeeds. “It was really important to me to ask those questions … I don’t like the feeling of friends not giving me their whole truth,” Sutton explained. “Erika is very private and very closed. I think, at the time, [she was] going through a lot and probably couldn’t give a lot of answers. But I was still going to ask,” she added.
Sutton also wanted to make sure that Tom’s reported victims aren’t forgotten. “It’s important to remember that there are serious victims out there that need help, that need surgeries and it’s just important to remember that,” Sutton commented, referencing the victims of both a 2010 gas explosion in California and the Lion Air Flight 610 crash.
She continued, “This is not a joke … They aren’t on a reality show. They’re at home in serious conditions. That’s all I want to say about it,” Sutton stated. “They need to be remembered.”
