Meghan King’s days on Real Housewives of Orange County may be way in our review mirrors, but the drama in her life has not slowed down. After she exposed Vicki Gunvalson during the Brooks Ayers cancer scam, Meghan went through some tumultuous events in her personal life. She’s a mom of three, and not shy about how hard that gets at times. She went through a nasty divorce with Jim Edmonds that was bitter on all sides. And she struggled in the dating pool. That is, she was struggling.
After just three weeks of dating each other (per Us Weekly), Megan married Cuffe Biden Owens. Yes, the name is just what you’re thinking — he’s the nephew of President Joe Biden. Mr. Prez even showed up at Meghan’s wedding ceremony. What other Real Housewives alums can say that? I’d bet not many.
It has been pretty shocking how fast the RHOC alum’s recent relationship moved. They dated for a few weeks before making a lifelong commitment. And according to Brides, Meghan claims she met her hubby’s family after just one week of dating. No time wasted with these two.

Meghan discussed that she and Cuffe met on a dating app. The pair texted a bit and spent “five straight hours on the phone” the first time they even spoke. “By the time that call ended, Cuffe was booked and packed for a flight to St. Louis that took off in about eight hours.” Sounds like a modern-day prince charming. Jim has to be grinding his teeth seeing his ex-wife get swept off her feet for once.
She went on to say that Cuffe took things up a notch after spending one week together. “We were back on the East Coast, meeting his family, and starting to plan our future together. We didn’t leave each other’s side for weeks,” Meghan said. That’s either really romantic or a gigantic red flag. Only time will be the deciding factor. But at least Meghan waited to be officially divorced from Jim (and to get his name tattoo removed from her body) before putting on another white dress. It’s a messy situation, but I root for Detective Meghan always.
