Kourtney Kardashian has gone from the sister who is “the least interesting to look at,” according to Kim Kardashian, to a star in her own right. She’s a mom, a businesswoman, and now a fiance. As if Scott Disick wasn’t already going through his breakup from Lisa Rinna’s daughter, now he’s watching the mother of his kids get treated the way she deserves by Travis Barker. And Kris Jenner is laughing all the way to the bank.
Kravis recently got engaged in an adorable way — surrounded by red roses on a beautiful beach. According to TMZ, we’ll get to see the proposal outside of Instagram, but for the upcoming Kardashians show on Hulu too. Even though Keeping Up With The Kardashians is dead, this family will never be off of our TV screens.
TMZ also reports that cameras were surrounding Travis and Kourtney on the beach when he popped the question in Montecito, California. After the ring was on her finger, they had a family celebration dinner to celebrate, which was also filmed for the upcoming show. Kim K. may have made KUWTK possible, but Kourt is doing the heavy lifting with her whirlwind relationship for the next era of Kardashian TV.

All I have been thinking about since the engagement was announced is how pissed Scott has to be. He had Kourtney for years, never married her, and put her through hell. He’s been trying to win her back while simultaneously dating an entire trove of young models. As if he didn’t already have a midlife crisis with his motorcycle and bleach blonde hair, this has to have him reeling even more.
While the Kardashians and their reality TV fame are always polarizing, the new show on Hulu should bring the family into a new light. They’ve gone from rich nobodies to some of the world’s biggest celebrities, so it makes sense that their TV gig would evolve as the years have gone on. Hopefully, since the new show will be heavy on the Kravis story that it will eventually film for the couple’s wedding. But maybe I’m getting carried away — let’s see what the new show is like first.
