We all love to hate her, but we’ve got to respect her — Tamra Judge is one of the most important Real Housewives stars of all time. She’s a bonafide OG on Real Housewives of Orange County because she totally changed the blueprint of the show after her debut. She’s always been open about her life and pot-stirring tendencies because she knows that makes good TV. Many people hate the way she plays the game, particularly Gretchen Rossi, but she plays it well. And plenty of others after her have tried to fill her shoes, but it’s just not the same.
Tamra’s been off RHOC for a couple of years now, but she always teases a comeback. She stirs the pot with information about whether or not she’s returning to Bravo nearly as much as she did with her co-stars on the show. We know she’ll be a part of the Bezerkshires edition of the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, with Anti-Vax Vicki Gunvalson by her side. But as for OC? Those days seem to be over for now. Even though Tammy Sue loves to remember them fondly.

In a recent Instagram Q&A, captured by All About The Real Housewives, Tamra called out her former co-stars for how they tried to play the game. One fan asked what Tamra thought of Gretchen referring to her as evil in David Quinn’s tell-all Not All Diamonds And Rose. “Bless her heart but her opinion means nothing,” Tamra said. She added that people should read the book to see what all of the producers had to say about Tamra’s impact on the show. We love a self-aware queen, even if she is a mess sometimes. And it makes me nostalgic for the old days whenever Gretchen v. Tamra reemerges in the mainstream.
She was also asked by a fan if she or her castmates ever prepared storylines for the show. “I did not, some do,” Tammy Sue wrote. “But it always shows and those type of cast members don’t last very long on the show.” OK so maybe Tamra should be the RHOC casting agent. As long as that means Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Kelly Dodd are off for good. Tamra also mentioned that producers “expose the fakes” in Quinn’s book, so she’s using their statements as a backup. She might not have cameras on her these days, but Tamra knows how to prove a point.
