Real Housewives of New Jersey OG, Teresa Guidice, has gotten an unlikely approval on her recent engagement from none other than her previous husband and father of her four daughters, Joe Guidice. On the heels of her recent engagement to her new beau, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, Joe gave rave reviews about Luis but still found an opportunity to throw a little shade towards their whirlwind romance.
According to People, Teresa said the following about Luis and Joe during a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, “They like each other…We went to the Bahamas and we went to go see Joe, and Louie DM’ed Joe behind my back. I didn’t even know. He’s like, ‘We’re coming out there. I would like for us to all have dinner.'”
Teresa continued, “We went out to the Bahamas because Joe is living six months in the Bahamas and six months in Italy, so we had dinner with him and it went really well. Joe thinks Louie’s a great guy.”

Joe Guidice said he is “happy” for Teresa, although he believes they “moved a bit quick into this romance.” Regardless of the speed of Teresa and Luis’ romance, Joe also said, “I’m glad she found her true love…And [I] wish them all the best.”
RHONJ fans may recall that Joe and Teresa announced their separation in December 2019 and shortly after met Luis while vacationing on the Jersey Shore in summer 2020. Last month, Teresa and Luis got engaged while they were on a trip to Greece.
