Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip has been the highlight of my very boring life right now. Speaking of boring, I mistakenly thought the show wouldn’t even be worth the watch. I thought it would be housewives filler and wasn’t really looking forward to it. I’ve been wrong about a lot of things but this was a huge one. If you’ve been tuning in, the show is anything but boring. The cast is showing us completely different sides of themselves. They are more relaxed, more open, and making some unexpected friendships between each other.
But one part of the show that didn’t surprise me is Ramona Singer and her atrocious behavior. Yes, we have all known this about Ramona for years. It’s just who she is as a housewife and person. Rude, unwelcoming, self centered. And always has to get the best room on vacation. Which quite frankly, needs to stop. Why can’t she just agree to a regular room like the rest of them? It’s not like there’s a bad room in a multi-million dollar villa on a tropical island. Is there? I wouldn’t know.
So Ramona is busy ruffling everyone’s feathers, leaving longtime Real Housewives of New York costar Luann de Lesseps as her only defender. Which Luann full admits, wasn’t the easiest of tasks. Luann spoke with Us Weekly and admitted, “I knew that with seven women there’s always going to be some drama. You’ll see that go down and there’s some fun surprises and things that you wouldn’t expect.”

You mean like when Ramona cussed at costar Kenya Moore before the plane even landed? Yeah, we probably did expect that. Luann continued about Ramona, “It’s hard to defend your friends when they put their foot in their mouth, but I told Ramona, I was very upfront with her. I say to her, ‘Look, I’ve got your back until you screw up and then you’re on your own.’ I will always listen to her and defend her the best I can until she’s like wrong.”
As for Lu’s personal relationship with Ramona while filming, it wasn’t exactly smooth sailing. Lu revealed, “There are some things that come out that that were hurtful and that we re-examine, and that the other women have their opinions about. I think it made us stronger in terms of our relationship.”
