Vicki Gunvalson will forever be the OG of Real Housewives of Orange County. No one could ever scream about family vans or sleeping with multiple partners just the way she does. She’s been through it all on TV — divorce, a cancer scam, becoming a grandmother, the list goes on. She’s just wacky — she talks a mile a minute, isn’t afraid to raise her voice, and likes to unwind from her busy life of insurance by whooping it up in Mexico. Yes, she’s pretty problematic — I call her Anti-Vax Vicki these days — but I’m still lowkey excited to watch her and Tamra Judge wreck havoc in the Berkshires during Season 2 of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
Vicki’s been going through a lot lately, aside from filming RHUGT and slamming RHOC whenever she can. She and Steve Lodge recently called off their engagement after Steve’s measly attempt at becoming the governor of California. Vicki says Steve cheated and it’s been a pretty ugly mess. Clearly, Vicki’s love tank is back on empty, which is never a good thing. Honestly, I don’t know whether Vicki is better behaved when she’s single or in a relationship. It has to factor into her wild ways somehow.

Since the split, everyone has their opinions about Vicki getting back on the market. Tammy Sue is looking for Vicki’s next piece of arm candy, while others are rubbing it in her face. That includes Emily Simpson, who recently told HollywoodLife that she was “not at all” surprised that Steve and Vicki ended things. “At their engagement, her brother told me they were never going to get married, so hello, no I was not surprised at all,” Emily said. Oh boy. She sounds like she’s taking Shane Simpson’s methods of making jabs. Not good.
Emily also doubled down on Steve’s claims that he dumped Vicki a long time ago and she just didn’t accept it. “I knew Steve broke up with Vicki a long time ago,” she added. “If anybody was paying attention, there were no photos of the two of them on her Instagram for months. Touche. Steve gave me weird vibes anyway. Vicki should just beg Donn Gunvalson for forgiveness and revive their romance. That was probably the most stable man we’ve ever seen her with.
