The kindest soul that ever passed through the doors at Sur is moving on after her split from Vanderpump Rules co-star James Kennedy. The formerly betrothed couple dropped a bombshell earlier this week when they announced their split after five years of dating. It comes on the heels of costar Lala Kent’s breakup from producer Randall Emmett. Yes, this cast tends to hit life’s milestone en masse. And after the famed baby boom of yesteryear, Vanderpump Rules stars are trending into breakup territory.
Though Raquel Leviss and James haven’t shared details about their breakup, they did issue a joint statement on Instagram alluding to them splitting amicably and growing in different directions. It read, “after these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we have two different goals and made the decision to call off the engagement. We love each other very much, but we aren’t in love anymore. We want nothing but the best for each other so please keep any thoughts positive. Sending Love.”
The details may be divulged during the Season 9 Vanderpump Rules reunion. The two apparently spoke of their split at the time on camera. Until the footage airs, fans of the couple are getting their updates from social media.

Now, E! News confirmed that Raquel moved out of the apartment she shared with James since 2018. The reality star posted a pair of videos to her Instagram stories Sunday that indicate she is on the move. 27-year-old Raquel filmed her belongings packed in the back of a moving truck. Another video, a Boomerang, showed the star opening the door of a storage unit. Raquel captioned the video, “as my dad says…my new home.”
Raquel and James’s journey started on New Year’s Eve of 2015. James was doing what he does best, DJing at a party. Vanderpump Rules fans saw the patient Raquel take on all of James’ rages and addiction challenges. They even got engaged on camera after an elaborate Coachella-themed proposal.
“James proposed at the iconic Empire Polo Fields of ‘RACHELLA’ Friday night,” Raquel shared at the time, “and I said YES! I’m over the Coachella moon.”
