Dorit Kemsley’s life was pretty chill throughout Season 11 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, especially if you compare it to someone like Erika Jayne. Her main storyline was that she was working on a wedding dress line and she barely got into any drama (besides her attempts at making Garcelle Beauvais look like a “bully”). But as the show jumped head-first into filming Season 12, Dorit’s life took a turn for the frightening. And the cameras have been there to catch it all.
A few weeks ago, Dorit was home alone with her two kids when she became the victim of a violent home invasion. She was held at gunpoint as robbers stole her valuables and threatened to kill her. Luckily, no one was hurt, but Dorit is obviously traumatized. PK Kemsley wasn’t even in the country when it happened, so it’s taken its toll on the entire family.
To add to the chaos, PK also was arrested last month on suspicion of a DUI. He apparently was at dinner with a business colleague and drank a glass of wine. When he was pulled over, he blew a .081 on a breathalyzer, with the legal blood alcohol limit in California being .08. When taken to the station, PK blew a .073, so officers drove him home. Dorit is now speaking up to assure everyone that PK learned his lesson.

TMZ caught Dorit leaving the People’s Choice Awards with Kyle Richards by her side and asked her about PK’s arrest. And, in a surprisingly concise answer for the long-winded lady, she didn’t shy away from explaining. “He’s very regretful. He fully understands the nature and the danger of drinking and driving,” Dorit said somberly.
But Dorit did add that he was “barely over the legal limit” but understands why it happened. Poor PK, can’t catch a break. “[He] reassures me that it will never happen again,” she added. Sounds like PK got a stern talking-to from Dorit. But it’s good that this situation didn’t result in more serious consequences for anyone involved.
