Shannon Beador has been on Real Housewives of Orange County for 8 seasons now. So she’s seen her fair share of drama. While the cheating and subsequent divorce scandal overshadowed her storyline for a few seasons, she’s still managed to give us plenty of fighting with her castmates. And some of those fights really stuck with her. Especially one in particular.
Who could forget the iconic episode where Shannon and a belligerent Kelly Dodd screamed at each other? In front of a whole crown at the restaurant The Quiet Woman, mind you. Ultimately, Shannon got so mad and flustered that she screamed, “F— you.” She then gave her the middle finger and yelled, “Read between these lines you f—— bitch. Get out of my table.”
Kelly being Kelly, she didn’t miss her chance to make a dig at Shannon’s 40-lb weight gain, which Shannon was super insecure about. Kelly snapped, “You know what, keep eating.” That’s when Shannon really lost it and threw her plate and screeched, “This isn’t my plate, you stupid f—— bitch. That’s not my f—— plate.” Many memes and gifs were born and the line went down in housewives history.
Shannon recently admitted to Hollywood Life, “When I pushed that plate and pushed the steak through in that scene, I cried for 2 months. ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe I acted that way.’ It really affects me. But now I’m good with it. Time heals everything.”

Luckily, Shannon has grown past the incident. When asked if she can laugh about it now, she responded, “A little bit. I’m not excited that I used the swear words in there, but I’m not proud of it. I can laugh about it today. I still go to The Quiet Woman all of the time and people request to sit in that booth all of the time.” I know she’s not lying because I have seen fans posting their pics at the iconic booth on social media. I wonder if Kelly is allowed into The Quiet Woman?
As for the current season of RHOC, Shannon revealed, “When I’m not in a good place or I’m not getting along with someone or there’s fighting and drama going on, it’s hard for me. It’s not like I say, ‘Oh we’re done filming’ and take it out of your mind.”
But ultimately, she’s happy with the change in cast and how the new season has turned out. She said, “You have your typical drama but then you also have the silly fun side. People want to see fun as well. It’s not always about drama all of the time.” Shannon concluded, “It is what it is. People come and people go on the cast. Am I grateful that I’m still on the cast? Yes I am. I’m a single mom. It’s a great platform and I started a company and it’s doing well and I’m very blessed and grateful for it all.”
