Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent and Randall Emmett have always had a somewhat volatile relationship, especially before she quit drinking. In 2018, after keeping their relationship tightly under wraps at first, Randall popped the question in Cabo San Lucas.
While their wedding was postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak, the couple did welcome a daughter on March 15, 2021. Lala posted a photo on Instagram with her newborn baby, Ocean Emmett.
In October of 2021, photos hit the Internet of a man who looked like Randall hanging out with two women in Nashville. Pump Rules star Lala doesn’t play, and she deleted all traces of Randall from Instagram. Randall who?
It was rumored that Lala, who has been sober for three years, dumped her fiancé for allegedly cheating. Lala moved out of the home that she shared with Randall.
Lala finally addressed her split with Randall on her podcast, Give Them Lala…with Randall. It has since been renamed Give Them Lala. “I take it one minute at a time because a 7-month-old can’t sit around and wait for you to get over s–t. You better keep your f–king head up and do your thing,” Lala stated. “For me, I look at it and I’m like, ‘I would never have Ocean.’ This independence that I have wouldn’t be here. It just feels amazing.”
What is less than amazing is what an Instagram account posted about Lala’s ex. The account posted screenshots of alleged text conversations between Randall and other women while he was still with Lala. Lala posted an Instagram Story with a fire background and the text, “What’s done in the dark, always come to the light.”
Lala vented on her podcast again, stating, “I don’t know how the f–k I didn’t see a lot of this s–t.” The VPR star continued, “The second that I felt unsafe — I said this in therapy — I said, ‘The second I get a pit in my stomach, it’ll be a different conversation.’ I got that pit and I got the f–k out.”

According to Reality Blurb!, Lala shaded Randall while promoting Bellesa’s line of adult toys on her Instagram. On December 13, 2021, Lala wrote, “‘Tis the season for a little extra self-care! I’m giving away *thousands* of free vibrators and goodies to celebrate the holidays!” She added, “It’s the best sexy time I’ve had in five years and eight months.”
The couple was together for almost six years. Feel the burn, Randall? He is probably wishing for the good old days when an angry Lala would stick his toothbrush where the sun doesn’t shine.
Lala’s followers had a lot to say about her remark in the comments. “LOVEEEEEE the shade!” one user said. “The shade is everything,” another stated. “THIS WAS SO SAVAGE AND IM HERE FOR IT,” a follower commented. “Hahaha dead with that caption,” a user stated. Another fan wrote, “Dang. Cold.”
A few followers weren’t on board with Lala slamming Randall. (There is some rough grammar ahead.) “Remember he’s your daughters father and you wouldn’t want your mom talking crap about your dad ever even tho he has passed. Keep that in mind,” the user said. “And the internet is forever. You can do better gurl.”

Lala has turned the souring of her relationship into some cash. First Lala changed her “Rand” tattoo on her arm to read “bRand New.” Lala started marketing a hoodie that has the words “bRand New” on it. The item sells for around $50 on shoplalakent.com. Lala is all about supporting her daughter, whether it is by creating Cameo videos, her podcast, or her book. She has earned her paycheck coming after all her co-stars on Season 9 of Pump Rules. Lala is working it.
Honestly, Lala had taken the high road about their split for so long, that it was only a matter of time before the shade came out.
