Who doesn’t love a Bravo mash-up? It brings such a clarifying view into the personalities and dynamics our Housewives are best known for. Mixing and matching Housewives is the entire basis for the Bravocon hype. Or Andy’s infamous baby shower. Let’s not forget all the goodness of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. (Btw – if you haven’t watched Kenya Moore spar with Ramona Singer yet, fix it).
The most recent Housewife-in-the-wild sighting on Bravo involved women from various franchises acting as clients for the designers on Project Runway. Even if you don’t watch this show regularly, I cannot recommend this episode enough. *Spoilers Ahead*
The Housewife/designer mash up featured Shannon Beador mentioning her Spanx about 56 times, Gina Kirschenheiter being made into a gothic action figure, and Wendy Osefo fretting about her happy-ness boobs every time she was on camera. While most of the women befriended their designers and appreciated their efforts, Wendy didn’t seem too happy about her free camera time and custom-ware.
The Project Runway challenge was for designers to create a reunion filming look. Wendy was matched up with designer Kristina Kharlashkna. When asked about her outfit preferences, Wendy said she was fine with a trousers or a dress, but she wanted her brand new T&A on display. Kristina got to work and made a low-cut hot pink halter/trouser look with a scarf accent. Wendy was visibly displeased with Kristina’s work, suddenly upset she was being put in pants. When Kristina reminded Wendy about her open-ended preferences, Wendy didn’t have much to say. Instead, she walked around with a facetious Jack-o-latern smile not even Gizelle Bryant could stomach.

After the show aired, Wendy posted her final wares on Instagram. Her comment read, “Such a privilege and an honor to be a guest model on Season 19 of @projectrunwaybravo. Thank you @nbcuniversal & @bravotv for the opportunity and special thanks to each of the designers — you all are tremendously talented. I am forever grateful” Despite thanking just about everyone who made her appearance happen, it seems that Wendy didn’t feel her designer deserved any credit.
In her post, Kristina finally got to say her piece without having a client to keep happy and an elimination to avoid. Kristina posted a gorgeous photo of Wendy wearing her Project Runway design. Kristina’s caption read, “What a challenge “Real housewives”…. I experienced the DRAMA fully…. @wendyosefo looks absolutely fab and she is an incredibly beautiful woman… I do not deserve to be tagged on her post, but she is very welcome to mine….” Ooop!
