Despite Lala Kent saying that she felt “alone” after the taping of the Vanderpump Rules reunion, clearly she has friends in her corner. Aside from supposedly airing out her breakup details on the reunion, Lala has also been on a media tour. She’s telling everyone and anyone who will listen how horrible her relationship was to Randall Emmett. Lala has never been one to hold back, but even I was a little surprised at how hard she is going. I mean, I just assumed she wouldn’t want to completely out herself as a fool after bragging about him all these years. But I guess I underestimated Lala.
Given some of the bombs she has dropped, Lala was bound to rub some people the wrong way. And one of those people happened to be Shahs of Sunset star and resident bad girl, Golnesa Gharachedaghi. GG, who is apparently friends with Randall (why?), took issue with Lala’s trashing of her friend. GG dusted off her Twitter fingers and tweeted, “If I recall correctly u were bragging about going down on your castmate & the timeline puts u in a relationship at that time. Cheater?” GG is referring to a much talked about hook-up with Lala’s costar, Ariana Madix. GG has since deleted the tweets but now Lala’s VPR costar, Katie Maloney-Schwartz is coming to her defense.
Katie told Page Six, “It’s hard when people don’t really know enough about the situation.” She then addressed GG, “You don’t really know what you’re saying here.” Katie also maintained that no one on VPR had an issue with Lala and Ariana’s interactions. Said Katie, “We were all there in real-time for that and no one’s calling her a cheater for that.”

As far as GG’s claims that Lala is wrong for talking negatively about the father of her daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett, Katie said, “That’s her choice. She can handle this however she wants to handle it. Why [is GG] publicly speaking on something that has nothing to do with [her]? It’s a little weird to me.”
Regarding the friendship that Katie developed with Randall while filming, she admitted, “It can feel very isolating and lonely when you feel blindsided and, completely out of left field, this person that you were with for so long is not the person that you thought that they were.” But she noted that it was “very easy” to cut ties with Randall once she heard about him allegedly cheating on Lala. Said Katie, “I got wind of it, and I was the one that called [Lala] to let her know. I just wanted her to know that she was loved and appreciated and that she’s amazing no matter what. You just want to prop people up.”
Despite Lala’s recent hardships, Katie has faith that her castmate will weather the storm. She said of Lala, “She’s ready to take on the world! Obviously, it hasn’t been easy. But she is so tough. I’m proud of her for being strong for her and for Ocean.”
