When it comes to being on Bravo, looking good has to be a priority. Housewives and other Bravolebrities alike have to live up to high standards. And that means being aspirational in looks and lifestyle. So getting work done is nothing new when it comes the reality stars on our screens. Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent is known for her good looks. Even so, she isn’t opposed to making a few tweaks here and there. But sometimes those tweaks can go a little too far, which she recently admitted.
As reported by Us Weekly, Lala recently opened up about her work with fillers on an episode of the podcast Juicy Scoop with host Heather McDonald. Lala revealed, “I was freshly injected. Oh my god, I was such a vibe — loved every part of my face. But this season is the one that everyone is telling me, ‘You look really great,’ which is great to hear. It’s because I haven’t been injected since before we started filming season 8 of Vanderpump Rules which was almost three years ago.”
Lala admitted that she scaled back for personal reasons, one of those being pregnant with her daughter. She added, “There have been times that I’ve overdone my face. I was getting Botox in the forehead, but not above the brows anymore because I already have a high arch. I got filler in the cheeks, jaw and chin. Then, I would get a little lip injection.” Lala also noted that it took some time to perfect “the craft of what Lala needs in her face.” Have more self absorbed words ever been uttered? Anyway.

As for adjusting to life with less fillers, Lala joked, “I do look in the mirror and go, ‘What is this? Why is my face moving?’”
Lala isn’t the first to confess to overdoing it on filler. On the most recent season of Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon Beador was shown in the doctor’s office. She was trying to dissolve too much filler she previously put in her face.
In an effort to look good at a reunion taping, Shannon divulged, “I wanted to look good for the reunion so I went elsewhere to try a couple of natural and non-invasive treatments…but it didn’t work at all on my skin. So as the reunion was around the corner, it was suggested that I try a natural filler in my face and in my cheeks that stimulates the growth of collagen.” After seeing herself on camera and getting negative feedback from fans, Shannon decided to try and go back to more of a natural look.
