It’s a new year and that means it’s time to watch yet another yachting season unfold on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Unlike the other Below Deck shows, it’s insane to merely watch a small crew manage five-star service on a massive sailboat. The drama is just the cherry on top. The chefs have to deal with plates falling out of cupboards, deckhands have to worry about everything flying into the waves. Imagine being a stewardess and trying to serve a tray of fancy cocktails on a boat rocking back and forth — it sounds impossible.
But, as is typical with the lifestyles of yachties on Below Deck, Season 3 will not be without its chaos. Last season, we saw a crew with a whole lot of interpersonal messiness. That’s what happens when you sleep in close quarters. Gary King was the pivotal point of the love triangle between Alli Dore and Sydney Zaruba. Thankfully, both ladies have moved on — Alli is now a mom and Sydney is (thankfully) not dating Captain Glenn Shephard. Also, after an STD scare and some paternity drama, Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux won’t be stepping foot on the Parsifal III anytime soon.
Bravo has unveiled a new group of yachties ready to take on another season at sea. Gary will be returning alongside chief stew Daisy Kelliher and chief engineer Colin Macrae. Aside from that trio, it’s a crew of new faces this go around. However, that only means that Gary has an entirely new crop of girls to flirt with and lead on. And looking at the first trailer for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3, it only looks like Captain Glenn’s crew is taking messy boatmances to an entirely new level.
Gary is back, without Alli or Sydney to hold him back. Naturally, Gary seemingly hooks up with several women that he works with, including Daisy, the commander in chief. I wonder if Daisy admitted these juicy details to her crewmates from last season, or if they’ll be finding out on TV like the rest of us. They hooked up in the hot tub, no less, which is classic Below Deck behavior.

Captain Glenn has a new chef on board — Marcos Spaziani, who is easy on the eyes. Although he looks like he knows what he’s doing, the trailer teases a moment that guests were not so happy with their meal. “I’ve gotten better food at the ballpark,” one guest yelled. Yikes. Hopefully, Marcos doesn’t pull a Mathew Shea and crack under pressure.
Along with Marcos, Parsifal III has a handful of other new members on board. We have a pair of deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson. We don’t know too much about them, but Tom let someone lick frosting on his nipple which is enough to make him seem pretty fun. The ship has a pair of new stews too — Ashley Marti and Gabriela Barragan. It’s only a matter of time until we’ll get to know these new yachties veryyyy well.
The trailer teases plenty of bad weather, clumsy injuries (that may or may not be fueled by alcohol), and a whole lot of stress. One moment shows Chef Marcos bleeding because he somehow cut part of his scalp off. I want to question how that’s even possible, but when that superyacht is out sailing, it can get rocky on board. Also, some rocky conditions lead to the Parsifal III dragging its anchor, something that Captain Glenn claims can make you “lose the boat.” The. Drama.
I’m ready to get seasick from watching my TV again started on February 21, when Below Deck Sailing Yacht returns to Bravo. It’s sure to be quite the spectacle to watch as the yachties deliver nothing but 5-star entertainment.
