Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy have been pretty mature about their split, especially considering it all went down during the Vanderpump Rules reunion. Raquel gave her ex-fiancé back her engagement ring right while the entire cast, including Lisa Vanderpump, watched in shock. I wonder how Tom Sandoval is feeling considering he funded half of James’ engagement festivities throughout Season 9. He’s probably just bummed he won’t get another chance to have Best Man duties at James’ wedding since that’s Sandy’s specialty.
I should say that James and Raquel were being pretty amicable about the breakup. More recently, it’s taking a turn for the Lala Kent and Randall Emmett. OK, maybe not that bad. But Raquel was a bit hurt when James didn’t rule out dating Lala now that the two chaotic Pump Rules stars are single. She kept it subtle, but after James was spotted holding hands with a new girl, it looks like gloves are off for Raquel. She’s ready to assert herself.
Everything is happening so fast in the VPR universe. The episode where they broke up just aired, yet James might have already moved on? Will their co-stars/friends be forced to pick sides? Honestly, the last season of VPR was rough, so who even knows if it will make it to Season 10 to watch this all play out. But if not, it looks like Raquel will still be hanging with her fellow SURvers and living her best single-girl life.

Raquel recently posted a photo of herself at her “unengagement party” this week, where her girlfriends gathered to watch the emotional reunion episode. They drank alcohol out of colorful penis straws — something James loved to hate on the show. “Penis straws ftw #unengagementparty,” she captioned the post. Page Six reports that Ariana Madix was in attendance to celebrate, but it’s unclear if any other Pumpers went. I’m sure James was not happy to see this shady Instagram post. Raquel might have gotten a few rage texts after that one.
But wait, there’s more — Raquel also slammed James for moving on in the comments (via @_surrules on Instagram). One fan wrote that it was kind of mean for her to post the obvious photo aimed at James and that she should have kept the issue private. Raquel responded, “After seeing how quickly James has moved on, I think I’m allowed the freedom to act on whatever my heart desires. I’m no longer taking into account other people’s concerns before my own.” Girl the SHADE. She has a point — drinking out of a penis straw while watching your relationship fall apart on TV is pretty mild. Knowing James, however, he will not take it lightly.
