Okay, so I’m a little confused over the did they, didn’t they hook-up drama between Very Cavallari start Kristin Cavallari and Southern Charm pillow maker extraordinaire Craig Conover. Hear me out.
The questions revolving around a potential hook-up between the former Hills star and both?/either? Craig and perpetual wingman Austen Kroll first came out this past summer. This means, we are only just now getting a first look at how they played out in real time on the newest episodes of Summer House.
But the drama actually began well before that. And, we have none other than Madison Lecroy to blame for it. Madison has a panache for sliding into the DM’s of former ball players and tried extremely hard to get Jay Cutler to visit (on camera, natch). This is right around the time that Austen and Craig were seen “dancing” with Kristin. Craig himself was very vocal about wanting Kristin on Southern Charm. It’s all so so messy.
Thanks to Lindsay Hubbard, this is all coming out in the latest episodes of Summer House. Linds gleefully broke the news to Paige DeSorbo that there was a Kristin hook up. And that hook up was with Craig.
Here’s where I get confused. Paige has said she had a thing with Winter House guest Andrea Denver that lasted after filming. However, she broke things off with him, when Andrea wanted to be exclusive. Paige wanted to be single. And single Paige wanted to mingle with Craig. But not exclusively. This shouldn’t even be a thing.
On the last episode of Summer House, we heard Paige confront Craig about his relationship with Kristin. And several minutes later, make out with Andrea. But that is neither here nor there.

Paige asked point blank, “Are you still f–ing her?” And Craig responded with, “If I’m in Nashville, do I have someone that I might hook up with? Yeah.” Are we being purposely vague Craigy? I feel like he’s taking a page out of Shep Rose‘s playboy-past playbook.
Perennial Paige BFF Amanda Batula has taken to Page Six to weigh in. When asked if she thought Craig might be lying about actually hooking up with Kristin, to create a storyline, Amanda was not happy.
“I would tell [Paige] to leave him right now if that’s the case. But I think that the definition of ‘hookup’ is different for a lot of people … So maybe it’s just a little bit of a miscommunication or maybe Craig kissed someone that he thought was Kristin.” I think it’s worth noting that at this time, neither Kristin nor anyone in her camp has done anything but deny any Southern Charm/Very Cavallari mergers of the romantic kind.
Amanda went on to voice the question I know I’ve been asking, “Why on Earth would Craig ever want to hurt Paige’s little heart by making something up like that? That would be just the worst … He has his moments, but he is a lover, and he really does have a big heart. The last thing he would do is make up a lie that he knows is going to hurt Paige.”

To be honest, I’m not sure we’re ever going to know the truth of it all on this one. It’s all one big confusing kerfuffle. And nobody seems to be talking.
TELL US- DO YOU THINK CRAIG SLEPT WITH KRISTIN? DO YOU THINK PAIGE HAS A RIGHT TO BE UPSET WITH HIM? DO YOU THINK AMANDA IS RIGHT- THAT CRAIG WOULDN’T MAKE UP A STORY THAT COULD HURT PAIGE?
