Bravo’s national treasure, Andy Cohen, recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “It was supposed to happen in May or April of 2020,” Andy said on his SiriusXM radio show. “February 4th is my re-schedule date.” Andy, who was allotted only 30 seats for the event, planned to invite some Real Housewives stars.
When Andy received his star, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members Lisa Rinna and Garcelle Beauvais were there. Andy’s good friend, John Mayer, was also by his side. John is a regular guest on Andy’s show, Watch What Happens Live. Why Andy is friends with the singer is a mystery to me.
In his speech, John name-dropped some Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars. “He’s … my friend, my dear friend,” the musician stated. “And there are times in life when you just need a friend you can count on. For example, when Homeland Security shows up to the Beauty Lab and Laser parking lot and your friend’s life is suddenly in shambles, will you be a Heather Gay or a Lisa Barlow?” John commented. As Andy laughed, John said that Andy is “forever a Heather Gay.”
In case you have been hiding under a rock, the RHOSLC cast was in a Sprinter van at Beauty Lab and Laser, preparing to leave for Vail. Jen Shah received a call and told Heather that her husband, Sharrieff Shah, had a health emergency. Jen left, and shortly afterward, the parking lot was filled with law enforcement officials trying to locate Jen.
Heather admitted that she was terrified. Lisa thought that the police were after Heather, and Whitney Rose thought that maybe the cops were actually strippers.
Unfortunately for Jen, they weren’t strippers. Her co-stars were shocked when Jen was arrested for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Her trusty assistant, Stuart Smith, was arrested and faces the same charges.

Jen called Lisa with her new phone, but Lisa didn’t reach out to Jen immediately. The same couldn’t be said of Heather. “My girl Heather Gay was there for me from jump. No questions asked,” Jen said.
Jen’s feelings toward Lisa were a bit chillier. “I was very, very close with Lisa [Barlow] and that’s honestly who I expected to pick up the phone on the first ring … and you know, it took a minute,” Jen explained.
Andy told Entertainment Tonight that he didn’t hear from either Lisa or Heather about John mentioning them. “Listen, no matter what he says, if John Mayer is calling you out, I think it’s pretty fun,” Andy remarked.
I’m not sure that Lisa is celebrating being called a bad friend. John is incredibly lucky that Lisa didn’t explode like she did on Meredith Marks.
John has some other links to Bravo stars. Vanderpump Rules cast member Scheana Shay claimed that around 2008, she was in a throuple with Stacie Hall and John.

And former RHOBH star Teddi Mellencamp is pissed at John. According to Teddi, they were seated together at Andy’s baby shower. John claimed that she hit on him and told him that her marriage was shaky.
“Go f yourself, John Mayer. Like I wasn’t coming on to you. I was making a joke because it’s called ‘Real Housewives’ and no one is married,” Teddi remarked.
I guess John isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but he is the hall pass for one Real Housewives of Miami star. Entertainment Tonight reported that John is actually the hall pass for Dr. Nicole Martin. Unfortunately for John, Nicole is engaged to longtime boyfriend Anthony Lopez.
