Unlike other cities in the franchise, Real Housewives of New Jersey has always been rooted in those old-school family relationships. It’s the Teresa Giudice show, after all, and her family ties make for seasons full of entertainment. From the infamous Christening disaster to the current battle between Joe Gorga and Gia Giudice, the dynamic among the Gorga/Giudice clan will always be a little complicated and endlessly fascinating.
To compliment Tre’s iconic New Jersey storyline, Dolores Catania provides plenty of insight about her longtime friend whom she grew up with. Tre and Dolo are Paterson girls who aren’t afraid to defend their loyalty. They’re the only two that really understand each other’s convoluted logic — something the likes of Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Aydin will never grapple with, no matter how hard they try.
It’s always interesting when RHONJ takes us back to the past. Those good old days when Dolo and Tre used to run the Jersey Shore. And we can only imagine the debauchery Tarzan and Big Frank Catania got into in their younger years. During this season, there’s been an interesting rumor that Dolores and Joe Gorga hooked up back in the day. They both vehemently deny it, but Melissa Gorga wasn’t so sure. In fact, the idea literally was enough to keep her up at night.

Tarzan is unpredictable, so it wouldn’t be a shock if he jumped at Dolores, who has always been a boss and a smoke show. However, Dolo appeared on Watch What Happens Live recently and assured Andy Cohen that she and Joe have never gotten together like that.
“I don’t know why Margaret [Josephs] said that,” Dolores said. “Honestly, Andy, I still look at Gorga like he’s a seven-year-old kid.” And there you have it — Dolores has quite the past, but it doesn’t include falling for Joey G’s flirty traps. But based on MelGo’s reaction, she might need a little more proof to really believe that it’s all a joke. We need Big Frank to set the record straight — there’s no way he doesn’t know the truth.
