While I’ll be the first to admit that Bravo has been rewarding us with consistently good TV in recent months, there are a few shows I’m missing these days. Sundays just aren’t the same without the Real Housewives of Potomac or Real Housewives of Atlanta. Also, thanks to all of the crossover with Summer House, I find myself craving the next season of Southern Charm. That’s probably because watching Austen Kroll and Craig Conover is just a tease — I need to see the whole Charleston crew wreaking havoc again.
The cast of Southern Charm will start off Season 8 in totally different places than they left things off after the last reunion. Naomie Olindo will also be returning to Charleston, after her devastating breakup from Metul Shah. But don’t expect her to rekindle things with Craigy now that Paige DeSorbo is the queen of his sewing empire. Let us not forget that somehow, someway, Shep Rose is still in a stable relationship. I’m happy for him, but I can’t hide my shock at his commitment.
Speaking of toxic relationships, Madison LeCroy has FINALLY moved on from Austen (*Melissa Gorga voice* Thank you JESUS). She’s engaged to a low-key guy named Brett Randle and has no plans to bring him onto the show. Hell, she doesn’t even want any of her co-stars to be invited to the wedding, that’s how serious she is. However, no matter how hard she tries, her co-stars always find a way to revive former ghosts of messy relationships past.

Madison’s FaceTime dates with Alex Rodriguez shook the internet last season of Southern Charm. Madison is inadvertently responsible for the Bennifer reunion, as Jennifer Lopez dropped ARod’s shady self after all of this went down. ARod has stuck to his denials while Madison has mostly kept quiet. Well, at least she’s quiet when the cameras aren’t rolling, but that’s probably because of the (alleged) NDA of it all. Even though all of this went down forever ago, Leva Bonaparte has recently brought it back to the mainstream during an interview with S’More Date, according to Page Six.
Leva was asked if she thought her Southern Charm co-star actually hooked up with ARod while he was still official with Jenny from the Block. “Yeah,” she responded. Madison has stuck to her story that their relationship was nothing but a harmless phone call, but Leva doesn’t believe it.
Madison reportedly responded to the news outlet by denying Leva’s claims, saying she doesn’t know the facts. It is important to remember that the bar/restaurant owner is not getting along with any of her castmates these days. It’s honestly the one thing she and Madison might have in common, so it’s a shame. They could team up and be more powerful than they realize.

Madison was not happy about Leva’s comments and decided to publically throw some shade her way. According to Comments By Bravo, Madison commented on Page Six’s story in her typical fashion – with a quick and nasty response. “She should try to get press without talking about me,” Madison said. I don’t love that the girls are fighting, but it’s at least going to make Season 8 interesting. But Leva should watch out – Madison’s not someone that you want to be your enemy.
TELL US – DO YOU SIDE WITH MADISON OR LEVA IN THIS ARGUMENT? DO YOU BELIEVE THAT MADISON HAS BEEN LYING ABOUT HER RELATIONSHIP WITH AROD?
