Season 2 of Love is Blind had plenty of drama. And not so many happy endings. Only two couples managed to say “I do” at the altar and the rest simply fell apart. One couple that I thought would make it was Shayne Jansen and Natalie Lee. The two seemed enamored with each other but there was one little thing standing in their way. Well, a person – Shaina Hurley. Unbeknownst to Natalie, Shaina and Shayne had some kind of connection in the pods. One that was apparently more meaningful to Shaina when she lambasted Shayne for picking Natalie over her.
Ultimately, the decision not to marry came from Natalie, after an intense fight the couple had the night before their wedding. Shayne seemed heartbroken and lashed out at Natalie. The two didn’t seem to come to any resolution and after the finale aired, speculation that Shayne ran back to Shaina appeared.
As reported by Us Weekly, Shayne posted a lengthy statement to his Instagram account, addressing the matter. After expressing remorse for how he handled his situation with Natalie, he concluded by shutting down the Shaina rumors. Shayne wrote, “To put some other rumors to rest, Shaina and I are cordial and have hung out in group gatherings with the cast (with Natalie), but we have never had nor will ever have a romantic relationship. I wish her all the best.”

As for Shaina, she told Us Weekly that she thought she had an “organic” relationship with Shayne in the pods. She revealed, “There’s some regrets. I just wish I was a little bit more forthright from the beginning [and] kind of prepared myself more, but can you prepare yourself?”
She also showed regret for how she talked about Shayne and Natalie’s relationship. During a tense bonfire encounter with Shayne, Shaina called his relationship with Natalie “fake” and “laughable.” Shaina told Entertainment Tonight, “I should have never questioned their relationship because I wasn’t there behind closed doors.”
She continued, “It was not fair of me to drag what was going on with me internally and putting it onto them. It’s a huge regret. I should have never said that. I’ve apologized, and I wish them nothing but the best. Him and Natalie should have picked each other at the end of the day.”
