Love is Blind Season 2 dropped on Netflix in February and has been on their Top 10 list ever since. This show is too good. Couples date through a wall until they are engaged. Then, these blind-daters move in with one another until their wedding day only weeks later. A perfect dating-show storm.
If you’ve binged Love is Blind’s second season and you’re already craving more, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey have your back. The Ultimatum, another high pressure marriage show, will be dropping on Netflix in early April. Variety is also reporting that fans can expect Love is Blind season three within the next year!
Season 3 of Love is Blind, which filmed back to back with Season 2, took place in Dallas. The show will once again include 15 men getting to know 15 women from separate pods for 10 days. The show’s creator, Chris Coelen, shared that “it’s a lot of guesswork” when it comes to deciding which couples to follow.
“We don’t know what’s going to happen,” he explained. “In Season 1, we were following Kenny Barnes and Kelly Chase, and we were like, it’s going to be so boring. They’re gonna say yes, and, of course, they’re getting married. And they didn’t. We had no idea, and continue to have no idea what’s going to happen in the stories that we choose.”

The executive produced explained that it wouldn’t be possible to follow every single love-connection on the show. “We didn’t even begin to tell the stories of the other engagements that happened, or lots of the other really fascinating, multi-layer relationships that went on,” he said.
Chris also responded to criticism that he didn’t always follow the right story line or always focus on the key relationships. He said,“I think it’s very funny for people to say, ‘Oh, you put somebody who was, you know, heavier in there, and then you just didn’t follow them.” He added, “It’s not like anybody wants that to happen or doesn’t want that to happen. What I want to have happen is just to be true to the experiment. You put people in there. They can’t see each other. If they fall in love, then we follow it and if they don’t, we don’t.”
