Love Is Blind season 2 didn’t show much success when it came to the couples involved. Only two couples walked away married and the rest broke up pretty dramatically. One such couple was Shaina Hurley and Kyle Abrams. After getting engaged in the pods, Shaina ditched him in Mexico, when they were supposed to be getting to know each other. Once they got home to Chicago, he met her family and it was awkward to say the least. Shaina met up with him to dump him, citing religious differences.
Kyle didn’t take the news well and Shaina fully admitted that she handled things all wrong. She said of her time on the show, “There’s some regrets. I just wish I was a little bit more forthright from the beginning [and] kind of prepared myself more, but can you prepare yourself? Besides that, no, it was an amazing experience.”
But now it sounds like everything worked out in the end. As reported by People, Shaina is engaged to boyfriend Christos Lardakis. A source revealed, “Shaina is engaged. She’s been dating Christos for almost a year and this is the happiest I’ve ever seen her. He has stood by her side through all of the Love Is Blind drama and has been her steady in the storm.” The unidentified source also added that Shaina is “such a sweetheart and has found a man who loves her and understands her.”

Shaina explained just how supportive Christos has been when she appeared on a recent episode of Nick Viall’s podcast Viall Files. Shaina revealed, “I’m actually in a relationship. It’s pretty serious.” She added of Christos, “he’s been great throughout the whole situation. I’m happy,” and has shown her “nothing but support. Aside from her gushing about him on the podcast, Shaina introduced Christos to her fans on her Instagram only a few days ago. The posts featured scenes from their trip in Greece. Shaina captioned one of their photos “My ride or die forever.”
As far as her relationship with ex-fiance, Kyle, it doesn’t sound like he will be getting a wedding invite. Kyle confirmed, “We don’t really talk. We don’t communicate, There’s nothing left. I mean, we’re not friends or anything. She doesn’t come out much. That ship has sailed.”
Regardless, the source of Shaina’s engagement said that she “deserves the very best.” Sounds like she got it. So contrast to the happy couple!
