It’s here! The newest Below Deck spinoff, Below Deck Down Under, is now available to stream on Peacock. Well, at least the first three episodes are. I know how I’m spending my evening. I’m so excited for the return of Below Deck Mediterranean stew Aesha Scott. And this time, you can call her Chief. Take that Ashling Lorger.
I can’t wait to watch Aesha put newbies Magda Ziomek and Tumi Mhlongo in their places, with her sardonic wit. I’m also looking forward to see what new Chef Ryan McKeown dishes out. (See what I did there)? And of course the iconic Below Deck pre-charter pow-wow between Chef, Chief Stew, Boson Jamie Sayed and Captain Hottie, Jason Chambers. This is gonna be good.
Ahead of the season, Page Six asked Aesha about her time on Below Deck Med, and if she had any regrets. Most specifically with her relationship with Jack Stirrup. If you recall, the two were hot and heavy for most of Season 4. They even left the boat as boyfriend/girlfriend. As you do.

Then, Jack had to make it messy. He got together with his ex-girlfriend. Whilst still dating Aesha, mind you. And managed to knock her up in the process. How nice. Although not surprising considering this is the same Jack who tattooed Katie Flood‘s face on his arm after two weeks of dating. But I digress.
According to Aesha, “To have the opportunity to come back and relive the whole experience was just surreal. And then having it Down Under, in this country that’s pretty much my home, it was just such an amazing experience.”
With regard to Jack, Aesha felt, “It was a fun time and I don’t regret it. He made doing that season that much more fun and I loved his company. It was a great time.” Don’t you just love her outlook on things? At the time though, I can imagine things didn’t seem quite so rosy.

Aesha went on to say, “After that season, and when he went off back to his ex-girlfriend or whatever, he called me and he really apologized. I literally haven’t spoken to him in like a year and a half or something but it’s definitely not negative. I don’t like to hold grudges and kind of keep a negative energy in my space. If someone is sorry and I feel like they’re genuine, I’m going to forgive them and move on.”
Which she has, with boo Scotty Dobbo. Living together in a converted ambulance in Colorado. Considering the duo got together during the pandemic, living in two different countries, I’m not worried about there being any relationship drama for Aesha this time around.
