She’s made it official! Former Below Deck Mediterranean Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier and partner Josh Roberts have tied the knot after nearly four years together, and a daughter that they welcomed in 2020. Hannah opted for a beach wedding, perhaps as an homage to the career that she left behind in 2020 after five seasons on the hit reality TV show.
Entertainment Tonight reported that the couple were wed on March 26th in Hannah’s native Australia on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. They took advantage of the last days of summer in the Southern Hemisphere. The blond stunner wore a Velani dress, while Josh represented his Scottish heritage by donning a kilt. His groomsmen were also attired in the garb. Even Hannah’s father was a participant.
The couple’s 16 month-old daughter Ava Grace stole the show by wearing “a gorgeous little flower crown.” The adorable toddler participated by walking down the aisle, albeit with some help from Hannah’s mother. The nearly two year old Ava, “just started speaking, which is so cute,” Hannah revealed. She added that Ava’s first word was “bubbles.”
The party-planning maven drew on her years in yachting to create the perfect experience for her guests. Gerard Bertand Cote des Roses rose wine was served, music by Nicole Rose, and Flower Wonderer created the gorgeous floral arrangements. The jury is still out on the table-scaping, but methinks that Hannah would have made former nemesis Bugsy Drake proud with her design.

Kashaya & Co. stepped in as wedding planner after an incompetent prior planner left nothing accomplished a mere month before the wedding. Hannah described that final month as “hectic,” and understandably so. “We had, basically, a disaster wedding planner who took on our wedding and then did nothing for six weeks,” Hannah explained, “so this whole wedding has been planned in the last four weeks.”
Because of this blunder, Josh suggested that they “scale it all back,” but Hannah stuck to her vision. She found a competent professional who saved the day, literally, with “sheer determination.” Perhaps the couple were not planning on holding their reception at their home prior to the bungle, but the end result was quite lovely. Fellow reality TV star Anastasia Surmava, who just recently got engaged herself, was in attendance.

An “amazing” celebrant named Caroline officiated their wedding, and Hannah described her as “fantastic.” She added that Caroline was “so warm and kind but also really understands our humor.” And that compatibility circumvented a “stiff” ceremony; something Hannah wanted to avoid. “I think even in the speech that she gives before she marries us, that the words ‘margarita’ and ‘tequila’ come up like twice,” the former reality star joked.
Hannah and Josh’s love story, as recounted by Caroline during the ceremony, began after Hannah finished filming Below Deck Mediterranean Season Four. The two met in a Sydney bar, and “had a glass of wine and then we went for dinner the next night” according to the former chief stew. “And then we caught up for drinks after the races the night after that,” she added, ” and then we just spent, like, seven days seeing each other for something each day.”

Even when they were apart, they still maintained a connection. After that whirl-wind week together, Hannah and Josh ended up watching the same TV show and texted each other all night. They certainly weren’t watching Below Deck, because Josh wasn’t initially aware that his lady was a reality TV star. However, once Josh did find out, he took it all in stride. “I think she’s pretty much who she is on the show,” Josh told E! News previously, “but it is obviously a show.”
Now that the gorgeous couple have tied the knot, they are looking to the future. First off, a honeymoon in Thailand. But despite the exotic location, Josh and Hannah are just planning to relax. “Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, the nightclubs are open!” Hannah joked, “I’m like, ‘Are you f–king kidding me? We have a baby. We don’t want to go to nightclubs. We want to take a nap.”
