You know that they say – one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Garcelle Beauvais is now using her cheeky side in response to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmate Erika Jayne throwing her book in the trash. The two have allegedly been feuding throughout the filming of season 12 of the franchise. And the trailer only confirmed just how heated it got when Garcelle told Erika, “I don’t have to make you look bad, you can do that on your own.” Garcelle even used the clip on her Instagram page, promoting her new book, Love Me As I am. Garcelle’s caption read, “You know how else you can look bad all on your own? By not pre-ordering your copy of #LoveMeAsIAm before it comes out on Tuesday.”
Erika and her ego couldn’t take it, so The Pretty Mess took to her Instagram stories to show off her not so pretty mess of a garbage can. And it featured Garcelle’s new book, right on top. Erika used the text to tag Garcelle and wrote, “Garcelle, even though you unfollowed me I’m sure you will see this.” Given the lack of recycling, the 30+ year old phone included in the trash heap, and Garcelle’s book clearly being labeled “proof,” this is not the flex Erika thought it was.

But Garcelle isn’t one to take anything lying down and decided to shade Erika for her antics. As reported by Page Six, took a jab at Erika in the best possible way – through parody. Garcelle reposted comedian Ross Mathews’ Instagram story, where he “finds” her book in a blue recycling bin. He picks it out and asks Garcelle, “What is this? Who put this in here? Garcelle, is this yours?” To which she responded, “Yeah!” Ross then tells her it was “in the garbage can!” Garcelle incredulously stated, “You’re kidding! That’s rude. Who would do that?”

Around the same time, Erika took to Twitter to explain why she tossed the book. A fan asked, “What made you throw out the book?” Erika tweeted her response, “Her Instagram post. No need to use my name or very complicated legal and personal problems to sell her book. She has enough friends to help her.” As if we don’t already know all about Erika’s “complicated legal and personal problems.” Either way, I can’t wait to see what happens next in the battle of the RHOBH housewives.
